Open your shop page

  1. Tap your shop name at the top left. The shop menu opens.
  2. Tap View storefront. Your shop page opens in a new tab.

The owner can also open it from Settings:

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Scroll down to Your link.
  3. Tap Storefront.
  4. Tap Open my shop at the bottom.

On a wide computer screen, tap your shop card at the bottom of the bar on the left. It opens the same menu.

After you change a setting, open your shop page again to see the change.

Your shop's look

Your shop page has one of three looks: Shelf, Market or Feast. All three show the same items and take the same orders. Only the owner picks the look. See Choose your shop's look.

Most parts below are on every look, but they can sit in a different place. When a part looks different, the look is named.

Some parts are also different at food shops. Food shops are shops with the category Home food, Restaurant & café, or Bakery & cakes.

With the Section builder add-on, you can change the order of the parts and how they look. See Section builder: design your shop page.

What customers see, top to bottom

The top of your page

Customers see your logo, your shop name and your island. With no logo, they see a small picture or the first letters of your shop name.

They also see:

  • your stars and number of ratings, after your first rating. See Get and see reviews.
  • a tick or a Verified seller label near your name, if you are a Verified seller. See Get the Verified seller badge.
  • round buttons to message you on WhatsApp (or Viber, if you have no WhatsApp) and to share your shop.
  • a moon or sun button. It makes the page dark or light for that customer.
  • on Market and Feast, a basket button with the number of items in their basket.
  • Your orders, after the customer orders from you on that phone. On Shelf, it is a small receipt button at the top. See What customers see after they order.
  • a heart with a number, after the customer saves an item. It opens the items they saved.

On Shelf, your name sits on a white card with your category and island under it. The card also shows your headline from Cover text, your description, and buttons to message or call you.

On Feast, a bar across the top has a search box and the basket button. Under it is a big block with your name. At food shops, the block also shows your description. At other shops, the block is a dark card. It shows your headline from Cover text, or "The whole shop, one tap." until you set one. Under it is a Shop the shelves button that jumps to your items.

Under the block are tabs: Order online, Reviews and Shop info. Customers tap a tab to jump to that part.

To change these, see:

Open, closed or paused

A small label near your name says if customers can order now. On Market, it is on the white card under the top. The words are:

  • Open: like "Open now", "Open until 22:00" or "Open 24 hours".
  • Closed: "Closed" or "Closed now". You are outside your opening hours.
  • Closed, but customers can still order for later: "Closed, order for later" on Shelf.
  • Paused: "Paused" on Market, or "Not taking orders" on Shelf. You turned off Accepting orders.
  • Pre-orders only: "Pre-orders only", or "Taking orders for later" on Shelf.

To change these, see Set your opening hours, Pause and restart orders and Take orders for later.

Delivery, hours and payment

Each look shows how customers get their order and today's hours. Shelf and Feast also show how customers can pay.

  • Market: the white card under the top shows Hours, unless you are open 24 hours. It shows your Min order, if you set one. It also has a Delivery line. The line says where you deliver, like "Within Malé", "3 islands" or "Nationwide", and the fee, like "Free" or "MVR 30". Customers tap it to see each island and its fee, and a Ferry or Air cargo line with your note. The card also shows Location with a Maps link, if you added one. If you are a Verified seller, it shows Verified seller with How it works.
  • Shelf: three small tiles under your card. They show Delivery, today's hours, and Pay by (Transfer, Cash or PayPal). Under them, customers tap Hours, address and delivery details. It shows hours for each day, address, pickup, delivery, minimum order, ferry, air cargo and payment.
  • Feast: a line like "Delivery MVR 30 · Pickup free" near the top. Customers tap it to see more. Lower down, the Shop info card lists your hours, delivery areas, pickup, payment and location.

When you do not deliver and customers collect from you, Market says Pickup only and "Collect from the shop".

If you deliver to many islands, customers see a button like See all 12 islands (on Shelf, See all). It opens a list called Delivery areas, with a box to type their island. If their island is not on your list, they see: "Not in this shop's delivery areas. Ask the shop before ordering."

To change these, see:

Notices above your items

A coloured box can show above your items:

  • "Not accepting orders right now. Browse the menu and come back later." You turned off Accepting orders.
  • "Closed right now, you can browse, but ordering is paused." You are closed and do not take pre-orders.
  • "Closed right now. You can pre-order for later, pick a time at checkout." You are closed, and your pre-orders are set to Now or later.
  • Order ahead, with a line like "Aisha's Kitchen makes every order to order. Pick a day and time at checkout." Your pre-orders are set to Pre-orders only.

In these notices, checkout means the last page, where customers place the order.

On Market, a blue box can also say: "Orders under MVR 100 are pickup only. From MVR 100, delivery is MVR 30." This shows when you set a Min order (MVR) and turn on Below the minimum, allow pickup. On Feast, shops that are not food shops show the same box above the items.

The same rule also shows in short:

  • Market: the white card says "Delivery from MVR 100" and "Pickup Any amount".
  • Shelf: the Delivery tile says "From MVR 100" and "Pickup any amount".
  • Feast: the delivery line says "Delivery from MVR 100 · Pickup any amount".

Offers and giveaways

These show near the top of your items, when you have them:

Search and categories

Customers type in the search box, like "Search items…" or "Search menu…". On Feast, the box is in the bar at the top and says "Search the shop" or "Search the menu". On Shelf, search and categories show once you have more items.

If nothing matches, they see "Nothing matches". On Market and Feast, they can also tap a button like Ask about "cake". It opens a message to you. It shows if you added a way to contact you.

Your categories show as buttons, starting with All. Customers tap one to see those items. On Feast, the row starts with Popular when you have Top of shop items. Tapping a category jumps down to it. See Sort items into categories.

Items you put at the Top of shop show in their own row. It is called "Featured" on Market, or "Popular right now" on Feast. See Choose the order items show in.

Boxes that customers fill themselves have their own card. See Make a box customers fill themselves.

Your items

Each item shows its photo, name and price. An item with sizes shows "From" and the lowest price. Labels on an item tell customers more:

To order, customers tap Add or the + button. On Shelf and Feast, the button then turns into a − and + counter. If the item has sizes, extras or a question, the item details open first. When you are not taking orders, the button is grey, or says Closed on Shelf.

On Shelf, the items change shape by how many you have. One item fills the page, with an Order now button. A few items get big cards. More items sit two in a row, under "What we sell" (or "Menu" at food shops). An item with no photo gets a name tag in your shop colour.

With no items yet, Shelf says "Items are on the way". If you added a way to contact you, it shows a button like Message Aisha's Kitchen. Market and Feast say "Menu coming soon". On the phone where you use Eveyla, Shelf also shows a dark strip: "Only you see this. No items yet, so buyers can only message you." Tap Add items in it to add your first item. Customers never see this strip.

Item details

When customers tap an item, a sheet (a panel that covers part of the screen) opens with:

  • the photos. They swipe to see more, and tap to make a photo bigger.
  • the name, the price and Details (your description).
  • sizes, colours, extras and questions to pick or fill in.
  • Ask about this item, to message you about it.
  • a heart to save the item on their phone, and a button to share it.

At the bottom are − and + buttons and a button like Add · MVR 50. If something is missing, the button says what to do, like Select Sauce. It can also say Sold out or Not accepting orders.

To change what is in this sheet, see:

The basket bar

When a customer adds an item, a bar slides up at the bottom:

  • Shelf: "Basket · 2 items", the price and Checkout.
  • Market: the number of items, View cart and the price.
  • Feast: "2 items" and a button like View cart · MVR 150.

With USD prices on, the bar also shows the price in US dollars. See Show prices in US dollars.

On a computer, Market and Feast show a Your order panel on the right, with each item, Subtotal and View cart.

Customers tap the bar to open their basket. See How customers order from you.

Lower down the page

Who can use it

Everyone in your team can open your shop page with View storefront. Only the owner can change Settings, like the look, delivery and hours. The owner, senior managers and managers can change items on Items.

The shop page needs a Storefront. On a free listing, customers see your listing page instead, and order by message. See Free listing and Storefront.

If this happens

Customers see "Shop not found"

Your shop may be hidden. The owner can check:

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Scroll down to Visibility. If it says "Hidden. Customers cannot open your shop", go on.
  3. Tap Visible to customers.
  4. Tap Show my shop.

See Hide or show your shop.

My shop says closed when I am open

Check your opening hours. Set each closing time before midnight, like 23:30. See Set your opening hours.

Customers see "Not accepting orders right now"

Accepting orders is off. Turn it back on. See Pause and restart orders.

An item is not on my shop page

It may be hidden, or it may launch later. See An item isn't showing in my shop.

I see a dark strip that says "Only you see this"

Your shop has no items yet. Tap Add items in the strip. Customers do not see it. See Add your first item.

Tip

Open your shop page on your phone before you share your link. Tap an item and add it to your basket, like a customer would. If something looks wrong, fix it in Settings or Items.
