What it is
Your shop page can have one of three looks: Shelf, Market or Feast. Your shop page is the page customers order from. The app also calls it your storefront. The look changes how the page is laid out. Your items, orders, basket and checkout stay the same. Checkout is the last page, where customers place the order.
Find it
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Your link.
- Tap Storefront. It says Layout, look, colours under it. A page called Storefront opens.
- Under Style, tap Look. A page called Look opens.
At the top of Settings there is also a heading called Storefront. That is not the row you need. Tap the Storefront row under Your link.
On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.
If you do not see Storefront under Your link, your shop is a free listing. Looks need a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.
Every setting
To change your look:
- Tap the look you want: Shelf, Market or Feast.
- Wait a moment. The card you tapped gets a green border and a tick.
A green line says "Saved. Your storefront now uses this look." There is no Save button. Customers see the new look right away.
To check it:
- Tap the back arrow at the top left.
- Under Your shop, tap Open my shop.
Storefront
This is the page you open from Settings. At the top is an example shop in your colours. Under it, the app says "an example of your shop, using your colours." It does not change when you pick a look.
The moon button at the top right of the example shows it at night. Tap the sun to see it by day again.
Under Style, each row shows what you have now. Tap a row to open it.
Look
The Look row shows the look your shop uses now: Shelf, Market or Feast.
The Look page starts with the heading Storefront look. Under it, the app says: "Same items and same orders, whichever look you pick. Choose what fits your shop."
Shelf is the wide card at the top. Market and Feast are side by side under it. The look your shop uses has a green border and a tick.
Under the cards, the app says: "Changes show on your storefront right away. Buyers keep the same cart, checkout and order tracking."
Shelf
The card says: "Gives every item room. Made for shops with up to 12 items. Items without a photo get a name tag."
Customers seea strip in your colour at the top, or your cover photo. Over it is a white card with your logo, shop name, category and island. It also says if you are open. Under it, up to three small boxes say how delivery, opening times and payment work. Then come your items on big cards.
An item with no photo shows its name on a tag in your colour. The item cards change shape with how many items you have. See What customers see on your shop page.
If your shop has no items yet, your shop page shows you a dark strip that says "Only you see this." Customers do not see it. Tap Add items in the strip to add your first item.
Market
The card says: "The Eveyla classic. Bold header and item cards."
Customers seea tall header in your colour, with your logo and shop name. Under it is a striped edge, like a shop's sun shade. Then a white card says if you are open, your hours and your delivery. Then come your categories and your items.
Food shops show items in a list. Grocery-type shops show items in a grid of photos. Food shops are shops with the category Home food, Restaurant & café, or Bakery & cakes. All other shops are grocery-type. See Choose your shop category.
Feast
The card says something different for each kind of shop:
- Grocery-type shops: "A bold hero and shelf grid. Made for groceries."
- Food shops: "A menu book look with big photos and sections. Made for food shops."
The hero is the big banner (a coloured box) at the top of the page.
Customers seea white bar at the top with a search box. Grocery-type shops get a dark banner with big words and a Shop the shelves button. Food shops get a light banner with your logo, name and description. Under it is a row of tabs, starting with Order online. Your Top of shop items show under "Popular right now". Then come your items, one category after another. Grocery-type shops show them in a grid. Food shops show them in a list.
You choose the big words on the dark banner. See Add a headline to your shop page. To put items at the top, see Choose the order items show in.
Colours
The Colours row shows two dots: your brand colour and your accent colour (your second colour). Your own colours are an add-on, or free with your own domain (your own web address). If the row says Waiting for domain, your colours are saved but do not show now. See Brand colours.
Sections
The Sections row is for the section builder add-on. There you show, hide and move the parts of your shop page.
- Without the add-on, the row shows an orange Add-on label. Tapping it opens the add-on store.
- With the add-on, the row says Standard. After you save your own page, it says Custom. Tapping it opens the section builder.
See Section builder: design your shop page.
Cover text
The Cover text row shows Set or Not set. It is a headline for the top of your shop page. See Add a headline to your shop page.
Open my shop
Under Your shop, tap Open my shop. Your shop page opens in a new tab. This is what customers see. Use it after each change.
Who can use it
Only the owner can see the Storefront page and change the look. Senior managers, managers and staff cannot open it.
All three looks come with a Storefront. They are not part of the free listing.
Common mistakes
I do not see Storefront in Settings
Your shop is a free listing. Looks need a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.
The example shop did not change
The example at the top of the Storefront page shows your colours only. To see your look, tap Open my shop under Your shop.
My shop page still shows the old look
Close the tab with your shop page. Then tap Open my shop again. The new page shows your new look.
A red message shows when I tap a look
The look was not saved. The card with the green border is still the look in use. Check that your phone is online. Then tap the look again.
My headline is gone after I changed my look
Your cover text does not show on every look. It shows on Shelf, and on Feast for grocery-type shops. See Add a headline to your shop page.
Tip
Try each look on your own phone. Pick a look. Then open your shop. Scroll down like a customer. Customers see each look as soon as you tap it. So try them at a quiet time, and finish on the one you want. If you have more than 12 items, try Market or Feast.
