An item isn't showing in my shop
Find out why an item is missing or cannot be ordered on your shop page, and fix it.
On this page

- My shop page says "Menu coming soon" or "Items are on the way"
- My free listing shows only 5 items

First, check the item
To see your page the way customers do:
- Tap your shop name at the top left.
- Tap View storefront.
To find an item on a Storefront:
- Tap Items in the bar at the bottom.
- Find the item. On the right of its row is a button. It says Shown, Sold out, Hidden or Drops with a day and time.
On a computer, the button is in the Available column.
That button tells you why the item is not showing. Find it below.
Staff do not have the Items tab. Ask the owner or a manager to check the item.
If this happens
The item is not on my shop page at all
The button says Hidden. Customers cannot see hidden items.
- Tap Hidden on the item's row. A small menu opens.
- Tap Shown.
The button turns green and says Shown. See Mark an item sold out or hide it.
The item is greyed out and says Sold out
Customers see the item, but they cannot order it. If they open it, they see "This item is unavailable right now."
- Tap Sold out on the item's row.
- Tap Shown.
Does the button say Shown, but customers still see Sold out? Then your stock count is 0. If they open the item, they see "This item is sold out right now." Add new stock to the count. See Add new stock and fix a count.
The item says Soon
Launch later is on. The button on the item's row says Drops and the day and time, like "Drops Fri 8:00 pm". The item opens by itself at that time.
Customers see"Drops in" and a countdown, like "Drops in 2d 4h". The add button says "Soon".
To open it now:
- Tap the Drops button on the item's row.
- Tap Shown. A sheet asks "Open this drop now?". (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Tap Open now.
To keep the countdown, tap Keep closed. See Launch an item later with a countdown.
Customers opened my item link and see "That item isn't available right now"
The item is hidden, or it was deleted. Under the message, customers see a line like "Here's everything else Aisha Bakes has." Your other items are below it.
If the item is hidden, show it again:
- Tap Hidden on the item's row.
- Tap Shown.
If you deleted it, add it again and share the new link. See Share one item.
My shop page says "Menu coming soon" or "Items are on the way"
No item is showing. You have not added any items yet, or all of them are hidden. Add an item, or show your hidden items. See Add your first item.
My free listing shows only 5 items
A free listing shows up to 5 items to customers. There is no Items tab. Your items are on Home, with a count like "5 / 5".
If your shop was a Storefront before, Home may list more, like "12 / 5". Customers still see only 5. Items you hid on your Storefront also stay hidden, even though Home lists them. To show all your items, open your Storefront again. See My storefront is paused and Free listing and Storefront.
Customers can see the item but can't add it
Your whole shop may be paused or closed. See Customers can't order.
Tip
When an item runs out for the day, pick Sold out, not Hidden. Customers still see that you sell it. On some shop looks, they can ask you when it is back.
