What it is

Your shop name, logo and description are the first things customers see on your shop page. Your name and logo also show in the Eveyla shop list, where customers find shops. Add them on your first day. You can change them at any time.

Find it

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Under Storefront, tap Logo, description & hours. It is the first row in that group. The line under it says how you take orders, like Accepting orders.
Settings on a phone. In the Storefront group, the Logo, description & hours row is marked.

A sheet called Storefront opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)

On a free listing, the group and the sheet are called Your listing. The line under the row says Photo, description & hours.

On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left. The sheet opens in the middle of the screen.

Every setting

Change what you need, then tap Save at the bottom. The sheet closes. Nothing changes on your shop until you tap Save.

Shop name

The box shows your shop name now. Tap it to change the name. Your shop must have a name.

Customers see

your name at the top of your shop page, in the Eveyla shop list and on their receipts.

Your new name also shows at the top left of the app.

Changing the name does not change your shop link. See Your shop link.

The logo is the square box under the name. Next to it, the app says "Tap to add your logo." It asks for a square picture.

  1. Tap the square box.
  2. Pick a photo from your phone.
  3. Wait until the new picture shows in the box.
  4. Tap Save.

When you have a logo, the words next to it say "Tap to replace your logo." To change it, tap the logo and pick a new photo. There is no button to take the logo off.

Customers see

your logo at the top of your shop page and in the Eveyla shop list. With no logo, they see the first letters of your shop name or a small shop picture.

Description

A few words about your shop. Say what you sell and where you deliver. For example: "Home-made cakes and short eats. Delivery in Hulhumalé." You can leave it empty.

Customers see

your description near the top of your shop page.

When customers search the Eveyla shop list, words in your description help them find you.

When someone shares your shop link in WhatsApp or Viber, a small preview shows under the link. The preview shows your description. With no description, it says something like "Order from Aisha's Cakes in Hulhumalé. No app, no sign-up."

Accepting orders

This switch stops all new orders for a while. It only shows on a Storefront. See Pause and restart orders.

When are you open?

Your opening hours. See Set your opening hours.

Who can use it

Only the owner can change the shop name, logo and description. Team members do not see Settings.

It is free on both plans: the free listing and the Storefront.

Common mistakes

My new logo is not on my shop

You did not tap Save. The X at the top right closes the sheet without saving. Tapping the dark part of the screen does the same. Pick the logo again. Wait until it shows in the box, then tap Save.

The Save button is pale and does nothing

Your logo is still loading. Wait until the new picture shows in the box. Then tap Save.

Nothing happens when I tap Save

A red message shows at the top of the sheet. Scroll up to see it. It says what to fix:

  • "Shop name is required." The Shop name box is empty. Type your shop name.
  • "Enter valid hours." or "Enter valid hours for Mon." A time box in your opening hours is empty. See Set your opening hours.

Then tap Save again.

A red message says "Image is empty. Please try a different photo."

That photo did not work. Tap the logo box and pick a different photo.

Tip

Use the same logo as your WhatsApp or Instagram picture. Customers who know you there will see that the shop page is really yours.
