Open your shop page

See your services the way customers see them:

  1. On the first screen after you sign in, tap your shop name at the top left. The shop menu opens.
  2. Tap View storefront. Your shop page opens in a new tab.
  3. Scroll down to Book a time. It is above your items.

Your first screen is Bookings or Orders, depending on how your shop started. Your shop name is at the top left on both.

Once bookings are open, this is your real page. A time you hold is kept for you, as for a customer. If you go on and book, it is a real booking. To take it off your calendar, see Move or cancel a booking.

Before bookings open, the owner can try every step without booking anything. See Try your booking page.

Book a time on your shop page

Your services sit in their own list, Book a time, above your items. Services never go in the basket. Next to the heading, it says how many services you have, like "3 services".

Under the heading is one line with your rules from Booking online:

Customers see

"30% deposit · Free to change until 24 hours before".

Other lines say "Pay at the visit", "Paid when you book" or "MVR 100 deposit". While customers cannot book online, the line asks them to message your shop to book a time. See Choose how customers book online.

Each service is a row with its photo, name, length and price, like "45 min" and "MVR 450". When options take different times or prices, it says "1 h 30 to 2 h 30" or "from MVR 300". While customers cannot book online, the length is not shown.

On the right of each row is one of these:

  • Book: customers pick a time and book it.
  • Ask: the service waits for your OK. Customers ask for a time, and you answer.
  • Message to book: customers cannot book this service on your page. They send you a message instead.
  • "Book at the shop": shows instead of Message to book when your page has no way to message you.
  • Not available: in grey. You marked the service Sold out.

Book and Ask open the Book sheet. A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen. Customers can also tap the photo or the name.

Message to book

When customers tap Message to book, a sheet opens. Its title is "Book with" and your shop name. A box called Your message has the message ready:

Customers see

"I'd like to book Gel polish. When can you fit me in?"

Customers tap Send on WhatsApp, or a button that copies the message and opens another app. If your page shows a phone number, they can tap Call the shop. Which buttons show depends on your contact details. See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.

A service says Message to book when:

  • your shop is not taking bookings online: before bookings open, or with Booking online off
  • nobody who takes bookings does that service
  • the service has extras set to Customers must pick
  • it is a trip with seats, and you do not have Bookings for more

See Customers can't book.

Held for you and Your booking

Two kinds of row can show above Book a time. Each shows only on the phone that made it.

  • While a customer holds a time, a row shows it, like "Sat 17 Oct, 13:00 with Shaha". Under it: "Held for you · finish booking". For a service that asks first: "Held for you · send your request". Tapping it takes them back to finish. For a trip, the row shows the boat's name.
  • After they book, a row shows their booking, like "Sat 17 Oct, 13:00 with Shaha". Under it: "Your booking · change or cancel". Tapping it opens their booking page. It stays until the visit is over.

When your shop is not taking bookings online, the booking row says "Your booking · see it or cancel".

You do not see these rows on your phone unless you booked from it.

The Book sheet

At the top of the sheet is the service name. Under it are your shop name and how it is paid, like "30% to book", "pay at the visit" or "paid when you book". A service that waits for your OK says "asks first".

Option

If the service has options, each one is a card. It shows the length and the price, like "45 min · 450". A small bar shows how long it is next to the others. One option is picked when the sheet opens.

Who

If more than one person, court or room can do the service, customers pick who. Anyone comes first, with "first free". It is picked when the sheet opens. Then comes each person, with when they start that day, like "from 13:00", or "off this day". When customers pick a person, they see only that person's day.

Day

A row of days scrolls sideways. Each day has a small bar that fills as the day fills, and a note:

  • "4 times": how many times are free.
  • "Closed": you are closed that day.
  • "Full": no time is free.

The first day with a free time is picked when the sheet opens. Later dates at the end shows more days.

Time

Under the days are the date and the time in big numbers, like "13:00 to 13:45". The line under it says who it is with and what to pay:

Customers see

"with Shaha · deposit MVR 135".

It can also say "with Shaha · pay MVR 450 at the visit", "with Shaha · MVR 450 paid when you book" or "with Shaha · nothing to pay to ask".

Below that, each person's day is a strip. Taken times are filled in. Times that cannot be booked have stripes. The customer's time is a block in your shop's colour. Customers tap a free space to move it, or tap Earlier or Later.

A service with set start times, like a court at 16:00 and 17:00, shows a grid of start times instead. A free start shows its price. The one customers pick says "Yours". A start they cannot pick says "Taken", "Prayer" or "Past". See Make a service bookable.

If no day in view has a free time, the sheet says "Nothing is free on these days." with Later dates.

The button at the bottom

The big button holds the time, like "Hold 13:00 to 13:45". Under it, customers see how long it is kept:

Customers see

"We keep it 15 minutes while you pay."

When nothing is paid now, it says "We keep it 15 minutes while you book." The button opens the booking checkout.

If someone else takes the time a moment before, the sheet moves to the next free time. A green note at the top says so. Under the button it says "Nothing was charged. Your choices are kept."

Trips with seats

A trip or class books seats on a departure. Trips need Bookings for more. See Add a trip with seats.

On your shop page, a trip shows when it leaves and how long it is out, like "Leaves 09:00 · 2 h". The price is for one seat, like "MVR 450 a seat".

In the Book sheet, customers:

  • set Seats with the − and + buttons. It starts at 1.
  • pick a day. Each day says, for example, "12 free", "No trips" or "Full".
  • pick a departure. Each card shows when it leaves, "Back about 11:00", the boat's name and a row of seats. On the right it says, for example, "12 free", "1 left after yours" or "The last seats". A departure without room for everyone is grey and says, for example, "3 free, not enough".

The money line says, for example, "MVR 900 · MVR 270 to book" for 2 seats. The button says "Hold 2 seats". Under it: "We keep them 15 minutes while you pay." When the trip is paid at the boat, it says "Nothing to pay now. You pay at the boat."

If you set the most seats for one booking, customers who reach it see, for example, "8 is the most on one booking. For a bigger group, message" and your shop name.

The booking checkout

The checkout is one page. At the top are your shop name and the service, like "Gel polish · 45 min". On the right, a small clock counts down the 15 minutes, like "9:12". Near the end it changes colour. When the time is up, it says "Time's up".

When

This part is done already, with a tick. It shows the time, like "Sat 17 Oct, 13:00 to 13:45", and "with Shaha · 45 minutes". Customers tap Change to go back to the Book sheet. For a trip it shows the seats, like "Sat 17 Oct, 09:00 · 2 seats", and the boat.

Who is coming?

Customers type their Name and Phone. The phone box starts with "+960". Customers tap it to use a number from another country. Under the box:

Customers see

"The last 4 digits open your booking page, to change or cancel."

A customer who ordered or booked on the same phone before sees their details in one row, with "saved on this phone" and Change.

Two buttons sit under the details:

  • For someone else: a box called Who it's for opens, for the other person's name.
  • Add a note: a box called Note for the shop opens.

A few questions

If the service has questions, a part called "A few questions from" and your shop name comes next. Customers answer each one. An optional question says "(optional)". See Make a service bookable.

Pay

When something is paid now, this part waits, grey, until customers tap Next: pay at the bottom. Then it opens with one of these titles:

  • "Pay the deposit": you ask for a deposit.
  • "Pay now": you ask for the full price.
  • "Pay at the visit": nothing is paid now, and there is no Next: pay. For a trip it says "Pay at the boat".

If you have a bank account and PayPal, customers tap Bank transfer ("Send a slip") or PayPal ("In US dollars"). Bank transfer is picked at the start.

For Bank transfer, customers see your bank, account name and account number, with Copy. Under it is the Amount, like "MVR 135.00", with Copy. They pay in their bank app. Then they tap Attach slip screenshot and pick the photo of their transfer. A payment slip is that photo. When it is in, it says "Slip added · MVR 135.00" and "It goes with your booking."

For PayPal, customers see your PayPal with Open PayPal and Copy, and the amount in US dollars. They pay, then tap Attach payment screenshot.

At the bottom of this part, a bar runs from "Booked" to the visit. It shows when free changes end. A sentence under it says your rule:

Customers see

"Free to change or cancel until Fri 16 Oct, 13:00. After that, the deposit is kept if you cancel or don't come."

The words follow your Booking online settings. For example, it can say the deposit comes back, or that customers message the shop to change.

The bar at the bottom

The bar shows what is paid now, like "Deposit now", "MVR 135" and "MVR 315 at the visit". Customers tap it to see a sheet called "The price", with the Total and what is paid when.

The button on the right changes as customers go:

  • Next: pay: opens the pay part.
  • Attach slip or Attach screenshot: opens the phone's photos.
  • Send slip and book or Send screenshot and book: sends the photo and makes the booking.
  • Book: when nothing is paid now.

Above the bar, a line says what happens next:

Customers see

"Sending your slip books the time." Then it says your shop checks the slip.

When nothing is paid now, the line says your shop "gets your booking straight away. You can change it on your booking page."

You're booked

After they book, customers land on their booking page. At the top it says:

Customers see

"You're booked. Keep this page: it has your time, directions and changes."

When they sent a slip, the line says "You're booked." and that the slip is checked next. Then you check the slip. See Check a payment slip and confirm payment.

The booking lands in your calendar. See Your calendar. For the rest of the customer's page, see Your customer's booking page.

When customers ask first

A service that waits for your OK shows Ask instead of Book. This happens when you turn on I confirm each booking first in Booking online. A service can also have its own setting, Your OK before it's booked. See Choose how customers book online.

The Book sheet looks the same. The button says, for example, "Ask for 13:00 with Shaha". Under it, the line names your shop and says it "answers within 12 hours. Nothing to pay until they say yes." The hours come from your Answer within setting.

At checkout, after Who is coming?, a part called "What happens next" shows three steps:

  • "You ask now", with "Nothing to pay. 13:00 is kept for you while they answer."
  • Your shop "answers by 22:20 tonight", with "If they don't, the time goes back and your page says so."
  • "You pay the MVR 135 deposit", with "Within 2 hours of their yes, by transfer or PayPal." When nothing is paid before the visit, it says "You pay at the visit".

The bar says "To pay now" and "Nothing". Customers tap Send request.

While they wait

The request page opens. At the top:

Customers see

"Your request is in." Then it says when your shop answers, and "Keep this page: the answer shows here."

The tag on the time says, for example, "Asked · answer by 22:20". Nothing is paid. Customers can tap Cancel the request.

A request does not show on your shop page. Customers keep the request page, as it tells them.

To answer it, see Answer a booking request.

Who can use it

Customers do not need an account. Everyone in your team can open your shop page and look: the owner, senior managers, managers and staff.

Booking online needs a Storefront. Book and Ask show once bookings are open and Booking online is on. Before bookings open, every service says Message to book, even with Booking online on. See Open bookings. If your plan stops, new bookings close. Your page then shows as a free listing. Customers see your services and message you. See When your trial ends or your plan stops.

Bookings come with the Storefront plan for one person, court or room. Customers can book that one on your page. For more, and for trips with seats, you need Bookings for more. It is an add-on. You can see its price in the add-on store. See Bookings for more.

If this happens

Every service says Message to book

Your shop is not taking bookings online. Bookings may not be open, or Booking online may be off. See Customers can't book.

One service says Message to book, and the others say Book

Nobody who takes bookings does that service. Or it has extras set to Customers must pick. Or it is a trip, and you do not have Bookings for more. See Customers can't book.

My services say Book at the shop

Your page has no way to message you. Add your WhatsApp, Viber or phone number. See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.

Customers cannot pay the deposit

You ask for a deposit, but you have no bank account or PayPal. The pay part says your shop "asks for a deposit to book, but hasn't added a way to pay online". The button says Back to the shop. Add a bank account or PayPal. See Add your bank account, PayPal and cash on delivery.

A customer's 15 minutes ran out

The checkout says "Your 15 minutes are up. Hold the time again before you pay, while it's free." The customer taps Hold it again.

If someone else took the time, a yellow box says the time went and "Nothing was charged". It shows the nearest free times. The customer taps one to hold it.

I changed a price while a customer was booking

A sheet called "The price changed" opens for them. It shows the old and the new total. They tap the button with the new price to book, or Back to the shop.

Tip

When a customer asks for a time in a chat, send them the service's own link. It opens the Book sheet for that service. See Share one item.
