Set your opening hours
Choose when customers can order from your shop.

What it is
Your opening hours are the days and times your shop is open. Outside these hours, your shop shows as closed. On a Storefront, customers can still look at your items then, but they cannot order. New shops start open from 09:00 to 22:00, every day.
Find it
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Under Storefront, tap Logo, description & hours. A sheet called Storefront opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Scroll down to When are you open?.
On a free listing, the group and the sheet are called Your listing.
On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.
The other settings in this sheet are in Add your logo, name and description.
Every setting
When are you open?
Under this title, a small line shows the choice you have now. Below it are three buttons: Open 24/7, Same every day and Custom. Tap one. It gets a tick. When you are done, tap Save at the bottom of the sheet.
If Pre-orders only is on, a green line says: "Shown on your shop. Pre-orders only is on, so hours don't stop orders." See Take orders for later.
Customers seenear the top of your shop page, if you are open and when you close.
When you are closed, a banner shows on your shop page. A banner is a coloured box. It says "Closed right now, you can browse, but ordering is paused." Customers can look at your items, but they cannot order. If you take pre-orders, the banner says they can order for later instead. See What customers see on your shop page.
Customers who already have items in their basket also see that you are closed, and when you open. See How customers order from you.
In the Eveyla shop list, your shop shows a label like "Open till 22:00" or "Opens 09:00". When you are closed, your logo there looks faded.
On a free listing, your listing page does not show your hours. They only change how your shop shows in the Eveyla shop list.
Open 24/7
Your shop is open all day, every day. There are no times to set.
Customers see"Open 24 hours" next to your shop in the Eveyla shop list.
Same every day
Your shop opens and closes at the same times on each day you are open. New shops start with this choice.
- Tap Same every day.
- Tap the From box.
- Pick the time you open.
- Tap the Until box.
- Pick the time you close. It must be before midnight.
- Under Closed on, tap each day you are closed. It turns orange.
- Tap Save.
The line under the days repeats your choice, like "Tap the days you close. Everything else is open 09:00 to 22:00." To open a closed day again, tap it. It is no longer orange.
Custom
Use this when your hours change from day to day. For example, you open later on Fridays.
You see one line for each day, from Mon to Sun. Each line has a switch on the right. Green means open. Grey means closed, and the line says Closed.
- Tap Custom.
- Tap the switch on each day you are closed, so it turns grey.
- On an open day, tap the first time box.
- Pick the time you open.
- Tap the second time box on that day.
- Pick the time you close. It must be before midnight.
- Do steps 3 to 6 for each open day.
- Tap Save.
A closed day that you turn on starts at 09:00 to 22:00.
Who can use it
Only the owner can set opening hours. Team members do not see Settings.
It is free on both plans: the free listing and the Storefront.
Common mistakes
My shop shows closed when it should be open
Check these:
- Until must be later than From, and before midnight. If you close at midnight or later, set Until to 23:59.
- Today must not be orange under Closed on. In Custom, today's switch must be green.
- On a Storefront, the button at the top right of your order board must say Open, not Paused. See Pause and restart orders.
Every day is closed after I leave Open 24/7
If your shop was on Open 24/7 and you tap Same every day, every day starts orange. Tap each day you are open, so it is no longer orange. In Custom, every switch starts grey. Tap the switch on each day you are open.
Nothing happens when I tap Save
A red message shows at the top of the sheet. Scroll up to see it. If it says "Enter valid hours.", a time box is empty. Pick a time in From and in Until. In Custom, the message names the day, like "Enter valid hours for Mon." Pick both times on that day. Then tap Save again.
My new hours are not on my shop
You did not tap Save. The X at the top right closes the sheet without saving. Set your hours again, then tap Save.
Tip
On a Storefront, turn on pre-orders. Then customers who visit when you are closed can order for later, instead of leaving. See Take orders for later.
