What it is

In the Delivery sheet, you choose how orders reach customers. You can deliver, let customers collect, or let them eat at your shop. Turn on one, two or all three. At checkout (the last page, where customers place the order), customers only see the ways you turn on.

Find it

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Scroll down to Delivery & payments.
  3. Tap Delivery. A sheet called Delivery opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
Settings on a phone. In the Delivery & payments group, the Delivery row is marked.

On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.

Under Delivery, a grey line sums up what you set. For example: "MVR 30 · min MVR 100 · 3 islands · pickup". It can also show "· ferry" or "· free over MVR 500". If you do not deliver but customers can collect, it says "Pickup only".

The first time you open Settings, a tip points at this row. It says "Start with delivery".

If you do not see Delivery & payments, your shop is a free listing. Delivery needs a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.

Every setting

When you are done, tap Save at the bottom of the sheet. While it saves, the button says Saving…. Then the sheet closes and the grey line under Delivery changes.

How do customers get their order?

This question is at the top of the sheet. Under it are three big cards. Tap a card to turn it on. It turns green and gets a tick on the right. Tap it again to turn it off.

Customers see

at checkout, the first step asks "How do you want it?". They get one choice for each way you turned on, like Delivery, Pickup and Dine-in. If you turned on only one way, there is nothing to pick. See How customers order from you.

I deliver to them

Under the title, the app says "You take the order to the customer." Turn it on if you or your rider take orders to customers. A new shop starts with this card on.

When it is on, the card opens. Inside, you choose where you deliver, your delivery fee, a minimum order and free delivery. See Set where you deliver and your fees.

While it is on, three more cards show lower down in the sheet:

Customers see

a Delivery choice at checkout, with your delivery fee or "Free".

When it is off, customers cannot pick delivery. If you turn it off and tap Save, the app keeps what you typed. Turn it back on later, and your fees and islands come back.

They collect from me

Under the title, the app says "Customer comes to your place." Turn it on if customers can come and collect their order. When it is on, you can type a Pickup location and turn on Check receipts at pickup. See Let customers pick up.

Customers see

a Pickup choice at checkout, marked "Free".

They eat at my place

Under the title, the app says "Customers order ahead and eat at your shop." Turn it on if you run a café or restaurant. See Take dine-in orders.

Customers see

a Dine-in choice at checkout, marked "Eat at the shop".

Delivery and refund policy (optional)

This box is near the bottom of the sheet. You can write your rules here, like when you deliver and when you give money back.

Under the box is a switch called Buyers must agree before ordering. You can turn it on only after you write a policy. See Add a delivery and refund policy.

Who can use it

Only the owner can choose how customers get their order. Team members do not see Settings.

It needs a Storefront. It is not part of the free listing.

Common mistakes

A red message says "Turn on delivery, pickup or dine-in, at least one."

All three cards are off. Tap at least one card, so it gets a green tick. Then tap Save.

A red message says "Add your pickup location, or set your shop address in Location settings."

Customers need to know where to collect. Type the place in Pickup location, inside They collect from me. Or add your address in Location. See Set your island and address.

For dine-in, the message says "Add where customers eat, or set your shop address in Location settings." Type the place in Where customers eat, or add your address.

My changes are gone

The X at the top right closes the sheet, and what you changed is not saved. Tapping the dark part of the screen does the same. Make your changes again. Then tap Save at the bottom.

My order board says "Buyers cannot receive orders yet"

Under it, the app says "Set where you deliver or where they collect. It takes a minute." Tap Fix now. The app opens the sheet you need to fill in. See Customers can't order.

Tip

Turn on both I deliver to them and They collect from me. Customers who live close can collect their order and pay no delivery fee.
