Open the checklist

The checklist is a page called Set up your shop.

  1. Tap Orders in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Tap Finish setting up at the top.

The Finish setting up row shows how many steps are done, like "2/7". Under it, it says how many are left and the next step, like "5 left · Add items".

You can also tap your shop name at the top left. In the shop menu, tap Finish setting up.

On a computer, Finish setting up is a small button at the top of the order board.

The first time you open the page, Grow (your shop assistant) may show a tip. It says "About 5 minutes, then you're ready for orders." Tap Got it.

The steps

When you opened your shop, Eveyla may have sent you an email called "Eveyla: (your shop name) is live". It names three of these steps. See Open your shop.

At the top, the page says how many steps are done, like "2 of 7 done · 5 left". A step that is done shows a tick and Done. Its button goes away.

  1. Add logo: tap Add logo. See Add your logo, name and description.
  2. Add your items: tap Add items. See Add your first item.
  3. Your island: tap Set. See Set your island and address.
  4. Choose what customers see: tap Set up. See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.
  5. Delivery and hours: tap Review. See Choose how customers get their order.
  6. Turn on order alerts: tap Turn on alerts. See Get a ping for every new order.
  7. Share your shop link: tap Share shop. See Share your shop link and QR code.

The last row, Add bank transfer, says Optional. Tap Add later to open your Payment details. The row says you can skip this and take cash on delivery for now. See Add your bank account, PayPal and cash on delivery.

Most buttons open a sheet in Settings. A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen. The first time, Grow may show a few tips on top of it. Tap Next on each tip. On the last one, tap Done. Then use the sheet.

When you are done in Settings, tap Orders at the bottom. Then tap Finish setting up to see what is left.

To leave the page, tap the back arrow at the top left. I'll do this later at the bottom also takes you back to your order board. Show me around again starts Grow's tour. See Tips and the tour.

Delivery and hours

Your delivery fees, areas, hours and payments start with safe settings. Check that they fit how you sell.

  3. Tap Save.
  4. Tap Orders at the bottom.
  5. Tap Finish setting up.
  6. Tap Looks good under the step.

If the step says "Buyers cannot receive orders yet", there is no Looks good button yet. Tap Review. Set where you deliver, or where customers collect. Tap Save.

If your island is not set yet, Review may open Shop location. Pick your island and tap Save location.

Turn on order alerts

When all 7 are done

The page says "You're all set" and "Your shop is ready to take its first order." Tap Back to dashboard. The Finish setting up row on your order board goes away.

Who can use it

Only the shop owner sees Finish setting up and the Set up your shop page.

The checklist is part of a Storefront. A free listing does not have it. See Free listing and Storefront.

Common mistakes

There is no Looks good button

The step says "Buyers cannot receive orders yet". Customers cannot get an order from you yet. Tap Review and turn on a way to get orders to customers. Your order board shows the same warning with Fix now. See Customers can't order.

I turned on alerts, but the step is not ticked

Tap Turn on alerts again. In the Order alerts sheet, tap Turn on order alerts. Then allow alerts when your phone asks.

If the sheet says "Notifications are blocked", your phone is blocking alerts from Eveyla. See I'm not getting order alerts.

The page shows your link in a box. It says "Couldn't copy automatically. Long press the link above to copy it." Press and hold the link to copy it.

The step is still not ticked. To tick it, tap the QR code button at the top right of your order board. A sheet called Share your shop opens. Tap Share card or Save image.

I can't find Finish setting up

The row goes away when all 7 steps are done. Tap your shop name at the top left. In the shop menu, tap Finish setting up.

A row says Digital items need online payment

You sell digital items, and customers must pay before you send them. Tap Add payment. Add a bank account or PayPal. See Sell digital items: codes, links and top-ups.

Tip

Before you share your link, place one test order. You see your shop the way customers do. See Place a test order.
