What it is
In your free trial, you set up bookings and try them out. Customers cannot book until you pay. They see Message to book on your services. Bookings open when you pay your Storefront plan. Then customers can book on your page, and you can add bookings to your calendar.
Find it
You pay on the Billing page. Only the owner can open it. In your free trial, a green strip shows at the top of the screen.
- Find the green strip at the top of your first screen. It says how many free days are left, like "Free trial · 9 days left".
- Tap Open bookings at the right end of the strip. Billing opens.
You can also open Billing from Settings:
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Team & account.
- Tap Billing. It says Plan, add-ons and payment slips under it.
Or tap your shop name at the top left. The shop menu opens. Tap Billing & trial.
On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.
Every setting
To pay your plan and open bookings:
- Tap Open bookings in the strip at the top. Billing opens.
- Under How long?, tap Monthly or Yearly.
- Tap Next: pay at the bottom.
- In your bank app, send the amount under Send exactly to the account under Copy the account.
- Go back to Eveyla.
- Tap Add slip photo.
- Pick the screenshot of your transfer.
- Tap Send slip at the bottom.
Billing now says Checking your payment. Bookings open when Eveyla checks your slip. Every step of paying is in Pay your Eveyla bill.
Each part is explained below.
The strip at the top
In your free trial, a strip shows at the top of every screen, except Billing. It says "Free trial · 9 days left". On the last day it says "Last day", then "Ends today". Near the end, it turns orange.
While you set up bookings, the link at its right end says Open bookings. It also shows the price of your plan. Tap it to open Billing.
Your calendar in the trial
Your calendar shows your day as it will look once bookings open.
- If your shop started with bookings, tap Bookings in the bar at the bottom. If you see orders, tap Calendar at the top.
- If your shop sells, tap Orders in the bar at the bottom. Then tap Calendar at the top.
At the top of the day, a green note says: "This is your day as it will look. Bookings open when you pay. Till then, set up and look around."
Free times show a small lock where the + would be. Tap a free time, Add a booking, or Time off in the ⋯ menu. A sheet called Bookings open when you pay opens. Nothing is written down.
In the trial, you can still add who gets booked, your services and your rules. You can also try booking on your own page. See Set up bookings and Try your booking page.
Customers seeMessage to book on each service, under Book a time. This is the same even when Booking online is on. They can send you a message to book. See What bookings do.
Bookings open when you pay
This sheet opens from your calendar in the trial. Under the title it says: "Your trial is for setting up and looking around. Nothing is written down yet."
A box called Storefront plan shows what you will pay a month. Under the name, it says who you take bookings for, like "With bookings for Shaha".
Three lines with ticks say what you get when you pay:
- How customers will book, like "Customers book and pay their deposit online". If Booking online is off, it says "Customers book online, once you turn on Booking online".
- "You write down bookings from DMs and calls"
- Your free days, like "Your 5 free days stay. The plan starts on 30 Oct". This means you keep your free days when you pay early.
Tap Pay my plan to open Billing. Tap Not now to close the sheet.
Team members see "The owner pays the bill, from Billing." and OK instead.
You're all set
This is for a shop that started with bookings. Its checklist is on a page called Set up your shop. To open it:
- Tap your shop name at the top left. The shop menu opens.
- Tap Finish setting up. The page Set up your shop opens.
Until every step is done, the page says "Finish these and you're ready to open bookings." When every step is done, it says You're all set and "Bookings open when you pay your plan." Tap Open bookings to open Billing. See Set up bookings.
The bookings line on your bill
On Billing, the Eveyla plan card at the top has a line about bookings. It says who your plan takes bookings for. For example:
- "Bookings for Shaha are in the plan"
- "Bookings for one person, court or room are in the plan", when nobody is set up to take bookings
- "Bookings for more: Liya, and anyone you add", when you have Bookings for more
In your trial, this line can end with Change. See Bookings for more.
Bookings open as soon as it's paid
After you tap Next: pay, a green note shows under the pay steps. It says: "Bookings open as soon as it's paid. By transfer, they open when your slip is checked, usually the same day."
Bookings are open
When Eveyla checks your first payment, Billing says Paid. Under it, a card says Bookings are open.
- If Booking online is on, it says "Customers can book Shaha on your page now." Tap Share your booking page to send your link. A sheet called Share your shop opens. See Share your shop link and QR code.
- If Booking online is off, it says "Add bookings for Shaha by hand now, and turn on booking online so customers can book on your page." Tap Turn on booking online. The sheet Bookings settings opens. See Choose how customers book online.
- If you still have free days, it adds a line like "Your free days still run to 30 Oct."
- Your shop link shows with a copy button. Tap the button to copy the link.
- Tap Open the calendar to go to your calendar.
The card goes away when you tap Done on the Paid card.
When bookings are open
Once your payment is checked:
- The strip at the top goes away.
- The green note and the locks leave your calendar. Tap a free time to add a booking. See Add a booking or a walk-in.
- Until your first booking, an empty day shows a green card. With Booking online on, it says Bookings are open and "Share your page and the first one lands here." Tap Share to send your link. With it off, the card says "Your day starts here. Write down every booking, from DMs, calls or the street."
- Try your booking page goes away from Settings.
- On a shop that started with bookings, Set up your shop says "Your shop is ready to take its first booking." when every step is done.
Customers seeBook or Ask on your services, when Booking online is on. If it is off, they still see Message to book. See What customers see when they book.
Who can use it
Only the owner can open Billing and pay the plan. Team members may also see the strip with Open bookings, but they cannot open Billing. On the calendar, they see the sheet Bookings open when you pay with "The owner pays the bill, from Billing."
Bookings need a Storefront. They come with the Storefront plan for one person, court or room. For more, Bookings for more is an add-on. You can see its price in the add-on store. See Bookings for more.
Common mistakes
I paid, but customers still see Message to book
- Did you pay by transfer? Bookings open when Eveyla checks your slip, usually the same day. Until then, Billing says Checking your payment.
- Is Booking online on? If it is off, customers message you to book. See Choose how customers book online.
- Still the same? See Customers can't book.
A free time opens Bookings open when you pay
Your plan is not paid. In your trial, nothing can be written down in the calendar. If you are the owner, tap Pay my plan in the sheet. Then pay on Billing.
Open bookings does not open Billing
Only the owner can open Billing. If you are a senior manager, a manager or staff, Eveyla takes you back to your first screen. Ask the owner to pay the plan.
The strip does not say Open bookings
If it says Nothing to pay today or Keep my storefront, you have not started bookings. As the owner, tap Settings in the bar at the bottom. Then tap Take bookings. See Set up bookings.
My trial ended before I paid
Your first screen shows a card that says "Your trial has ended". Customers still see your services, and message you to book. Tap Pay my plan on the card to pay and open bookings. See When your trial ends or your plan stops.
Tip
Before you pay, turn on Booking online and add your bank account. Then try your booking page. When bookings open, customers can book from your page right away.
