Open your shop

Step 1: Open your shop

1. Type your shop's name in the Shop name box. For example, Aisha Cakes.
2. Look at your shop link under the name, like shop.eveyla.com/aisha⁠-⁠cakes. Wait for the green tick next to it. No tick? See Shop link below.
3. Tap the Island box. It says "Select your island". A list opens under it.
4. Type your island in the Search island or atoll box.
5. Tap your island.
6. Type your phone number in the Phone number box, after +960.
7. Tap the What you sell box. It says "Pick a category".
8. Tap what you sell. For example, Bakery & cakes.
9. Tap Continue at the bottom.

A page called Create your login opens. Go to Step 2 below.

Made an Eveyla login before, but you have no shop yet? Tap Sign in at the top right. After you sign in, you come back here.

Shop name

This is the name customers see.

Customers see

your shop name and your island at the top of your shop page.

You can change it later. See Add your logo, name and description.

Shop link

This is the address of your shop page. Customers open it to order. Eveyla makes it from your shop name, in English letters. While Eveyla checks the link, it says "Checking…". A green tick means the link is free.

Is your shop name in Dhivehi letters? Then nothing shows after shop.eveyla.com/. Type your own link.

To pick your own link:

1. Tap Change next to the link. A box called Shop link opens.
2. Type the end of your link, after shop.eveyla.com/. Use English letters, numbers and dashes (-), with no spaces.

Capital letters turn into small letters. The Shop link box also opens by itself when the link cannot be used. You can change your link later. See Your shop link.

Island

Pick the island where your shop is. Islands are grouped by atoll. You can type an island or an atoll to find it. If nothing matches, it says "No islands match".

Phone number

The box starts with +960. Type your 7⁠-⁠digit phone number after it. Customers do not see this number. You can change it later. See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.

What you sell

Pick the kind of shop you are. The list starts with "Most picked", then "All categories". You can also type a word, like cakes or phones. If nothing fits, tap Other.

Home food, Restaurant & café and Bakery & cakes show your items as a menu. All other categories show them as a grid. You can change it later. See Choose your shop category.

Step 2: Create your login

Your login is how you get back into your shop. Use Google, or an email and a password.

At the top, a card shows your shop name and link. To fix something, tap Edit on the card. You go back to Step 1. The arrow at the top left does the same.

With Google:

1. Tap Continue with Google.
2. Pick your Google account.

Eveyla opens your new shop. Has this Google account used Eveyla before? Then a blue note says "Signed in to your existing account" first.

With email:

1. Type your email in the Email box.
2. Type a password in the Password box. Use 8 or more letters, numbers or signs.
3. Tap Start free trial at the bottom. It says "Starting…" for a moment.

To see your password, tap Show in the box. Tap Hide to hide it again.

Under the button are two links: Shop Terms and Privacy Policy. When you start, you agree to them. Tap them to read them.

Remember your email and password. You need them to sign in again.

After you start

Your shop is open. Your shop page is live at your shop link.

A page called "How do you want to start?" opens. It helps you add your first item. See Your first minutes in the app.

Your new shop is a Storefront, free for 14 days. See Free listing and Storefront.

The email from Eveyla

Eveyla sends one email to your login email. Its subject is "Eveyla: Aisha Cakes is live", with your shop name.

It shows your shop link and the day your free trial ends. Under "Three things to do now" are three links:

• Add items opens your Items page. See Add your first item.
• Open your shop opens your shop page. See Share your shop link and QR code.
• Open Settings is for order alerts. See Get a ping for every new order.

The green button Open my dashboard opens your order board. For help, tap Message Eveyla on WhatsApp at the bottom.

Already signed in?

If you have an Eveyla login but no shop, the form has only one step. It has no "Step 1 of 2", and the button says Start free trial.

This form opens by itself when you sign in. You can also tap Set up my shop on the "No shop yet" card. Fill in the boxes as in Step 1. Then tap Start free trial.
