What it is
Each booking has its own page for the customer. It shows the time, who they see and what is paid. It also has a QR code to show when they come. On it, customers can change or cancel, or pay a deposit you asked for.
Find it
To open the page of a booking made online, or a booking you added whose deposit is paid:
- Tap the first tab in the bar at the bottom. It says Bookings or Orders.
- If Calendar is not picked at the top, tap Calendar.
- Tap the booking on the calendar. A sheet with the booking opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Under the date at the top, a grey line says "Booked online" and the order number, like "order #204". Tap the order number. The order opens.
- Scroll down to Receipt.
- Tap Share.
- Send it to yourself, for example in WhatsApp.
- Tap the link in the message. The customer's booking page opens.
To open the page of a booking you added:
- Tap the first tab in the bar at the bottom.
- If Calendar is not picked at the top, tap Calendar.
- Tap the booking on the calendar.
- Find the Booking page box. It shows the link.
- Tap Copy. The app says "Link copied".
- Paste the link in a message to yourself.
- Tap the link.
The Booking page box shows while the booking is booked and you have not asked for a deposit.
A request (a customer asking for a time) has no link in the app. Customers get its page right after they ask. It is also in the message you send when you answer. See Answer a booking request.
On a computer, the tabs are in the bar on the left.
In your free trial, nothing is booked, so there are no booking pages. Your try-out ends before this page. See Try your booking page.
Every setting
The page changes with the booking. When you mark, move or cancel a booking, the page shows it. Below is the page from top to bottom, then how it looks in each case.
Two ways customers get it
- They book on your shop page. Their booking page opens as soon as they book.
- You send them a link. This is for a booking you added, and for your answer to a request.
They look much the same. The differences are explained under "A booking you added" and "A request" below. When a customer pays a deposit from your link, it becomes the first kind of page.
The page never shows an order number.
On the phone they booked with, your shop page also shows their booking, above Book a time. It says the time, like "Sat 17 Oct, 15:45 with Liya", and "Your booking · change or cancel". Tapping it opens their booking page.
The top
Your logo and shop name are at the top. Under them, it says "Your booking". After the visit, it says "Your visit". A share button at the top right lets customers send the page, or copy its link.
Right after they book, a green line says "You're booked. Keep this page: it has your time, directions and changes." If they sent a payment slip (the photo of a bank transfer), the line says your shop checks the slip.
The time
A coloured board shows the booking. At the top is a short status, like "Booked". Under it are the date, like "SAT 17 OCT", and the time in big numbers, like "15:45 to 17:45". Then the service and who does it, like "Gel polish · with Liya". A court or room shows its name instead. A booking for someone else also shows "for" and their name.
A small bar shows the time on that day. A small button on the board saves it as a picture, without the money.
The status changes with the money:
- "Booked": they pay at the visit.
- "Booked · slip sent": they sent a slip for the deposit. Above the board, a line says your shop "checks your slip, then confirms your deposit."
- "Booked · deposit paid": you confirmed the deposit. See Check a payment slip and confirm payment.
- "Booked · paid": everything is paid.
If Grow checks your payment slips, the status can say "Booked · checking your slip" or "Booked · slip checked". If the slip shows less, it says how much is missing, like "Your slip is MVR 35 short". See Let Grow check payment slips.
Where and money
Under the board, a few short facts show before the visit:
- Where: your address and island. See Set your island and address.
- Paid or Deposit: what they paid or sent, like "MVR 135 deposit".
- At the visit: what is left to pay when they come, like "MVR 315".
- Free to change: until when they can change for free, like "Until Fri 15:45". After that, it says "Not any more. Message the shop".
Show this at the door
A QR code (a square code a phone camera can read) is under the facts. Next to it, the page says "Show this at the door". Customers show it when they come. Find their booking on your calendar, and tap Here. See When the customer comes.
Add to calendar, Directions and Message
Three buttons sit under the QR code:
- Add to calendar puts the booking in the customer's phone calendar. It has your shop name, the time and a link back to this page. Their calendar then reminds them.
- Directions opens Google Maps. It goes to your Google Maps link, or looks up your address.
- Message opens WhatsApp, with a message about the booking and its link. Without WhatsApp, it opens Viber and copies the message first. With neither, the button says Call.
The Message button uses the ways to reach you that you show customers. See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.
Change or cancel
While the booking is ahead, a row under the board says Change or cancel. Under it, the app says until when changes are free, like "Free until Fri 16 Oct, 15:45". This comes from your rule in Booking online. See Choose how customers book online.
To change or cancel, the customer:
- Taps Change or cancel. A sheet called Your phone number opens.
- Types the last 4 digits of the phone number they booked with. The app says "It keeps your booking yours."
- Taps Continue. A sheet called Your booking opens.
- Taps Change the time, or a cancel button like "Cancel, and get your MVR 135 back".
Change the time opens Change your time, with the same free times they book from. They pick a new time and tap a button like "Move to 16:15". Under it, the app says "The shop sees the new time on its day." The booking moves on your calendar. Their deposit moves with it.
Cancel opens Cancel this booking?. In the free time, it says any deposit they paid comes back, and that your shop sends it. It also says "This can't be undone here." They tap Cancel booking, or Keep it. The time is free again on your calendar.
When a page says your shop sends money back, you send it yourself. See Cancel or refund an order.
After the free time, the row says Cancel. Under it, the app says "Changes need the shop now." What happens to the deposit follows your rule under If they cancel late or don't come:
- With "You keep the deposit" and a deposit paid, the row adds "The deposit is kept if you cancel." The cancel sheet says the deposit stays with your shop. It can show Ask the shop to move me, which opens a message to you. To cancel anyway, they tap "Cancel and lose the deposit".
- With You send it back, the deposit comes back when they cancel.
If someone types the wrong digits too many times, changes lock for a while. The page says "Changes are locked until" and a time.
When you mark the booking
When you tap Here on the booking, the page says "You're here" and "Your visit has started."
When you tap Done:
- The top says "Your visit". The board says "Done · thanks for coming", and what was paid, like "MVR 450 paid".
- The QR code and the buttons go away.
- "How was it?" shows, with five stars and a box that says "Anything to add? Optional". Customers tap a star, and can add a note. Then the page says "Thanks, sent to" and your shop name. Their rating shows with your reviews. See Get and see reviews.
- A button like "Book again with Liya" opens your shop, with the same service and person picked. For a court or room, it says Book again.
When you tap Didn't come, the page says "Marked as didn't come". If you kept the deposit, the line under it says so.
When you move or cancel a booking
When you move a booking, an orange line says your shop moved it, and from which time. It adds "If the new time doesn't suit you, you can cancel for free." After your move, a cancel gives them their money back. This is so even after the free time. See Move or cancel a booking.
When a booking is cancelled, by you or by them, the board says "Cancelled". The time is crossed out. A line says what happens to the money. For example, that your shop "sends back your MVR 135", or that the deposit was kept, as your rule says. Buttons let them call or message you, like Call shop, WhatsApp and Viber.
When their time went while paying
Sometimes a customer's time is taken while they are still paying. Then the page says "Pick a new time". A card says "Your MVR 135 reached the shop" or "Your time went", and what happened. For example: "Someone booked 15:45 with Liya while your slip was on its way. Nothing is lost."
The card offers a few free times and Other times. A big button takes the time they pick, like "Take Sunday 13:30". Or they tap a button like "Get my MVR 135 back". Under it, the page says "The shop sees this on your order and can call you."
On your calendar, the booking says their time went while they were paying. The owner, senior managers and managers can tap Give it a time. See Move or cancel a booking.
A booking you added
When you add a booking and send it, the customer gets this page from your link. See Add a booking or a walk-in.
Without a deposit, the page says "Booked". It shows the QR code, Add to calendar, Directions and buttons to call or message you. A line says to message your shop to change or cancel: "This booking was made by the shop."
With a deposit asked, the page says "Deposit not paid". The facts show Booked by with your shop name, and what is left At the visit. Under them is a box to pay the deposit, like "Pay the MVR 135 deposit". See Ask for a deposit on a booking you added.
If you let the time go, the page says "Time let go" and "Nothing was paid." If you cancel the booking, it says "Cancelled".
Paying a deposit from your link
The pay box shows when you asked for a deposit on a booking you added. It also shows after you say yes to a request.
- If you have a bank account and PayPal, customers tap Bank transfer or PayPal.
- For a bank transfer, three steps show: "Copy the account", "Send exactly" with the amount, and "Attach the slip".
- For PayPal, the steps are "Find the shop on PayPal", "Send exactly" with an amount in US dollars, and "Attach the screenshot". Open PayPal opens your PayPal.
- If the booking has no name or phone number, the box asks for "Your name" and "Your phone number" first.
- The bar at the bottom says "Deposit now" (or "Pay now" for the whole price) with the amount, and what is left at the visit. Its button says Attach slip, then Send slip.
After they send it, the page turns into the booking page described above, with "You're booked." The deposit shows as sent until you confirm it. From then on, they can change or cancel like a customer who booked online. See Check a payment slip and confirm payment.
If you change the price before they send, a sheet called The price changed shows them the new amount first.
Did you switch on Pays at the visit for that size after you sent the link? Then the box says "Nothing to pay before the visit". Its button is "Book it, pay at the visit". See Make a service bookable.
If the deposit cannot be paid on the page, a line says why, and to message you. See Common mistakes below.
To ask for a deposit at all, you need a bank account or PayPal. See Add your bank account, PayPal and cash on delivery.
A request
When you confirm each booking first, customers ask for a time. Their page says "Your request" at the top. See Answer a booking request.
While they wait for your answer:
- The board says "Asked · answer by", and a time, like "Asked · answer by 22:20".
- A line says the time is kept for them until your shop answers. "The answer shows here, and they message you."
- The facts show Answer by, To pay now with "Nothing", Deposit after the yes and At the visit.
- A box says "Your QR comes with the yes".
- A row says Cancel the request and "Nothing has been paid".
To cancel, they tap Cancel the request. They type the last 4 digits of the phone number they asked with. Then Cancel your request? opens. They tap Cancel request, or Keep it.
After your yes:
- With a deposit, the board says "Yes · pay by 15:00 to keep it". A line says when you said yes. "If the deposit doesn't come by 15:00, the time goes back." The pay box says "Pay MVR 135 to keep this time". The QR code shows once the deposit is paid.
- With nothing to pay first, it becomes a booking page with the QR code.
When a request ends, the board says one of these, with "Nothing was paid.":
- "Not taken": you said no. If you gave a reason, it shows under "Their note".
- "No answer in time": you did not answer by the time on the page.
- "Time let go": the deposit did not come in time, or you let the time go.
- "Request cancelled": the customer cancelled it.
When the deposit did not come in time, a row says "Paid the deposit already?". Customers can still send a slip there. If the time is still free, the slip books it.
An ended request shows Book another time. It opens the service on your shop page.
A called-off trip
Trips and other services with seats need Bookings for more. It is an add-on. You can see its price in the add-on store. See Bookings for more.
A trip's page says "Show this at the jetty". The board says "back about" and the time the trip comes back. It shows the boat's seats, with theirs marked. What is left to pay shows under At the boat.
When you call off a trip, each customer's page says so:
- Moved to another trip: an orange line says the trip was called off and why, like "because of the weather". It says your shop moved them. "If you can't make it, cancel and you get everything back."
- Not moved: the board says "Called off · money back", or "Called off" when nothing was paid. The facts show Called off with the time you did it, and Why. A button says Book another trip.
- A request is moved with the others, or ends as "Not taken".
- A booking you added is moved, or says "Called off" with "Message them about another trip."
See Call off a trip.
Problem with this booking?
At the bottom of a booking page, "Problem with this booking?" opens a sheet called Tell Eveyla. It says "This goes to Eveyla, not the shop." Customers pick Paid but not confirmed or Something else. The page of a request, or of a booking you added before it is paid, does not have it.
Who can use it
Customers open their page from their link. They need no app and no account.
Everyone in your team can open a booking and its order. So everyone can share a customer's page, or copy it from the Booking page box. Everyone can tap Here, Done and Didn't come, and these change the page.
Only the owner, senior managers and managers can:
- move or cancel a booking
- answer a request
- send a booking you added
- tap Give it a time
Bookings come with the Storefront plan for one person, court or room. For more, Bookings for more is an add-on. You can see its price in the add-on store. Trips need Bookings for more. See Bookings for more.
Common mistakes
A customer says they can only cancel, not change
- The free time to change has ended. The row says Cancel, and "Changes need the shop now." Move the booking for them. See Move or cancel a booking.
- You added the booking yourself. Its page says to message you to change or cancel. Move it for them.
- Your bookings have closed. Then customers cannot pick a new time on their page. They can still cancel. See When your trial ends or your plan stops.
The page still says "Booked · slip sent"
You have not confirmed the deposit. Check the slip in your bank app, then confirm it on the order. The page then says "Booked · deposit paid". See Check a payment slip and confirm payment.
The customer sees "Changes are locked until"
The last 4 digits were typed wrong too many times. The customer must use the phone number they booked with. Until the time shown, they can message you. You can move or cancel the booking for them. See Move or cancel a booking.
The link says "This booking link doesn't work"
The link is cut short or broken. A broken link to a booking made online says "Link cut short" or "No order here" instead. Send the link again:
- For a booking you added, tap the booking on your calendar. Tap Copy in the Booking page box.
- For a booking made online, open its order. Under Receipt, tap Share.
The pay box is gone, and a line says to message you
The deposit cannot be paid on the page. The line says why:
- "It's too close to the time to pay here." The visit is about to start. Open the booking on your calendar. You can keep it, paid at the visit. See Ask for a deposit on a booking you added and Answer a booking request.
- Your shop "can't take payment for this service here right now." The service may be hidden or sold out. See Mark an item sold out or hide it.
- Your shop "isn't taking new bookings right now". Your bookings have closed. See When your trial ends or your plan stops.
If the box says you have not added a way to pay online, add a bank account or PayPal. See Add your bank account, PayPal and cash on delivery.
Tip
When you send a booking, ask the customer to tap Add to calendar on their page. Their phone then reminds them, so fewer people forget to come.
