What it is
The Items page lists everything your shop sells. Items are grouped by category, in the same order customers see. Use it to add items, find one, and change it. You can also mark an item sold out from the list.
Find it
- Tap Items in the bar at the bottom.
On a computer, Items is in the bar on the left. There, the buttons are in a row above the list: a "Search items" box, Stock, Export CSV, Manage categories, Shop order, Select and Add item. Shop order shows when you have 2 or more items. Select shows when you have at least one. The list has the columns Item, Price, Stock and Available.
If you do not see Items, your shop may be a free listing. See Free listing and Storefront. Staff do not see Items at all.
The first time you open the page, small tips point at some buttons. See Tips and the tour.
Every setting
Items
This is the title at the top. Under it, you see how many items you have. For example: "12 items · tap the green button to mark one sold out".
Add items
The green button at the top adds a new item. See Add your first item.
Select
This button lets you pick many items and change them together. You can also press and hold any item. It shows when you have at least one item. See Change many items at once.
More
This is the round button with three dots (…), on the right of Select. It opens a sheet (a panel that covers part of the screen) called More with:
- Search items: "Find an item by name." See Search items below.
- Select items: the same as the Select button.
- Manage categories: add, rename, move or delete your categories. See Sort items into categories.
- Shop order: "Drag to set the order your items appear in." See Choose the order items show in.
A Stock card may show at the top of the sheet. See Keep count of your stock.
To close the sheet, tap the X at the top right.
Search items
- Tap the round … button.
- Tap Search items. A box called "Search items" shows above your list.
- Type part of the item's name.
The list now shows only the items that match. If nothing matches, it says "No item found". To stop searching, tap the X in the box.
Strips and cards at the top
Sometimes a strip or card shows above your list:
- A Stock strip, when items need more stock. Its button says Restock. It also shows when you did not finish adding or counting stock. Then the button says Finish or Continue. See Keep count of your stock.
- "Your list is waiting", when you started adding a list on this phone and did not finish. See Add items from a list or spreadsheet.
- "Showing the 8 items you just imported". It shows when you add many items at once, then tap Add photos on the last screen. Only the new items show, so you can add their photos. Tap Show all to see every item again. See Add many items from photos.
Category cards
Each category has its own card. The name is at the top. The number on the right says how many items it has.
- Tap + Add on a card to add a new item to that category.
- A category with no items says "No items yet." Tap Add item under it to add one.
- Items with no category are in a card called Uncategorised.
Customers seeyour categories as the groups of items on your shop page.
Item rows
Each item has a row. Tap the name or photo to open the item and change it. See Change an item's name, photos, price or details.
A row can show:
- The photo. With no photo, it shows a small basket (a fork and knife for food shops).
- The name.
- A small orange number: how many groups of extras it has. See Let customers add extras.
- An orange label like "3 sizes" or "4 packs". See Add sizes and colours.
- Coloured dots and a line like "2 colours × 3 storage", for items in colours.
- The price, like "MVR 25". It says "From MVR 20" when sizes have different prices.
- " · per kg" when the item has a unit.
- A pink Sale label, with the old price crossed out. After the sale ends, it says "Sale ended". See Put an item on sale.
- Stock, like "· 12 in stock". It says "· Out of stock" in red at 0. A yellow Low label shows when the count reaches your Warn me at number. See Keep count of your stock.
- A small calendar for pre-order items. See Sell an item as a pre-order.
Food shops also see a grey line under the name: "Hidden from your shop", "Sold out today", or the item's description.
Items that are Sold out or Hidden look faded.
Shown, Sold out and Hidden
The button on the right of each row says how the item is: Shown (green), Sold out (grey) or Hidden.
- Tap the button. A small menu opens.
- Tap Shown, Sold out or Hidden.
Under each choice, the menu says what it does:
- Shown: "Customers can order it"
- Sold out: "Visible, can’t be ordered"
- Hidden: "Off your shop, still at Counter"
The Counter (the POS tab) is where you sell to customers in your shop.
An item set to launch later shows a dark button like "Drops Fri 8:00 pm". See Launch an item later with a countdown.
See Mark an item sold out or hide it.
Export item list
This card is at the bottom of the page. It saves a file with all your items. On a computer, click Export CSV above the list instead. See Download your item list.
Your shelf is empty
This is what the page shows before you add anything. Food shops see "Your menu is empty". It says "Add what you sell. Customers can order it right away." Tap Add your first item. See Add your first item.
Who can use it
The owner, senior managers and managers can use the Items page. Staff do not see it.
