Join a shop's team

Join a shop owner's team with your own login, after they invite you.

Steps

  1. Open the email from Eveyla called "Eveyla: You're invited to help run Aisha Bakes". Or open the message the owner sent you on WhatsApp or Viber.
  2. In the email, tap the green button Join Aisha Bakes. In a WhatsApp or Viber message, tap the link. A page called Join your team opens.
  3. Look at the Email box. Your email is already in it. Check that it is the email the owner invited. Do not change it.
  4. Type a new password in the Password box. Use at least 8 characters.
  5. Tap Join.

The shop's order board opens. A welcome card from Grow may show. Grow is your shop assistant in Eveyla. It names your role and the shop, like "You're a manager at Aisha Bakes". For staff, it says "You're on the team at Aisha Bakes". Tap Show me around to see where everything is. See Tips and the tour.

The invite email

The email says "Join Aisha Bakes on Eveyla". It says your role and what you can do. For example: "Aisha Bakes added you to their team as staff. You will see their orders and can update them from your phone."

It also says: "To join, create a password using this email address". The email it shows is the one you must use.

Not expecting it? The email says: "Not expecting this? You can ignore this email. Nothing happens unless you join."

Need help? Tap Message Eveyla on WhatsApp at the bottom of the email.

  1. Open shop.eveyla.com.
  2. Tap My shop at the top right. The sign in page opens.
  3. Tap Join here, next to "Invited to a team?".
  4. Type the email the owner invited in the Email box.
  5. Type a new password in the Password box.
  6. Tap Join.

If you already have an Eveyla login

Already use Eveyla with the invited email? You do not need a new password.

  1. Tap Sign in. It is in the email, and also on the Join your team page, next to "Already have an account?".
  2. Sign in with that email.

The shop now shows up in your app. If you have more than one shop:

  1. Tap your shop name at the top left.
  2. Under Switch shop, tap the new shop.

After you join

Your role decides what you see. For example, staff see Orders in the bar at the bottom. When the shop uses the Counter (the POS tab), they see that tab too. See What each role can do.

Next time, open Eveyla and sign in with the same email and password.

If this happens

It says This email already has an account.

You already have an Eveyla login with this email. Tap Sign in instead. Then sign in with your password. Forgot it? See Sign in, sign out and reset your password.

It says No invite found for this email

You are signed in with an email the owner did not invite. The page says: "Ask your shop owner to invite this exact email on their Staff page, then sign in again."

  1. Ask the owner to invite the email shown on the page.
  2. When they have, tap Check again.

Or tap Sign out and join with the email the owner invited.

Open your own shop instead is only for starting a new shop of your own. Do not tap it to join a team.

A red line shows under Email or Password

  • "Add your email.": type your email in the Email box.
  • "Use at least 8 characters.": type a longer password, with 8 or more characters.

This phone is signed in with another login, maybe the owner's.

  1. Tap the shop name at the top left.
  2. Tap Log out at the bottom.
  3. Open the invite again.

Eveyla asks me to open a shop

After you sign in, a page called Open your shop opens. This means your email has no invite. Do not open a new shop. Ask the owner which email they invited. See I can't sign in.

It says No shop yet

The page says "You're signed in but not yet linked to a shop." Your login is not on a team. The owner may have removed you, or invited a different email. Ask the owner. See I can't sign in.

Do not tap Set up my shop. It is for opening a new shop of your own.

A red box shows when I tap Join or Check again

Check that your phone has internet. Then tap the button again. If the red box comes back, see Contact Eveyla.

Tip

Join on your own phone. Then tap the shop name at the top left. Tap Order alerts on this phone. Your phone then pings when a new order comes in. See Order alerts for your team.
