Why it happens

Your storefront is paused when your free trial ends and you have not paid. It also pauses when your Eveyla bill is late. Your shop then shows as a free listing.

Your items, settings and shop link are kept. Your add-ons are kept too. When you pay, your storefront comes back on the same link. The app says: "Same link, nothing to set up again."

Before it pauses, Eveyla warns you. In your trial, a banner (a coloured box) at the top of the app shows the days left. When your bill is late, the banner says "Payment overdue". Emails and phone messages come too. See Emails and messages from Eveyla and Pay your Eveyla bill.

How you know

  • The bar at the bottom has only Home and Settings. There is no Orders tab.
  • At the top of Home, a box says "Your storefront is paused". If your trial ended, it says "Your free trial ended".
  • The box says: "Your shop is on a free listing right now."
  • On the Billing page, the first card says Eveyla plan. Next to it, a red label says Paused. Below, a grey box says "Showing as a free listing".
  • Grow, your shop assistant, says "Grow is paused with your Storefront". To open Grow, tap the green Grow tab on the left edge of Home. Grow also says your Grow credits are kept. Tap Pay to restore there to open Billing. See Meet Grow, your shop assistant.
Customers see

your free listing page. It shows up to 5 of your items. Customers can message you on WhatsApp, Viber or SMS. There is no basket, so they cannot order on your page.

More about the listing page: Free listing and Storefront.

Bring it back

  1. Tap Home in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Look at the box at the top. It says "Your storefront is paused" or "Your free trial ended".
  3. Tap Restore storefront. The button also shows the amount to pay. The Billing page opens.
  4. Pay by bank transfer.
  5. Send your payment slip (the photo of your bank transfer) on Billing. See Pay your Eveyla bill.

If the amount is more than your plan, the box says: "That's your plan plus your extras. See the breakdown on Billing."

You can also open Billing from the shop menu. Tap your shop name at the top left. Then tap Billing & trial.

After you send your slip, the box on Home says Payment under review: "We'll restore your storefront, cart, live order board, and your items, as soon as your transfer is confirmed." On Billing, a card says Checking your payment and "Usually the same day". You do not need to do anything else.

Coming back without an add-on

If you pay for a monthly add-on or extra staff seats, Billing says: "Coming back without an add-on? Stop it first and it comes off what you pay." To stop one, see Turn an add-on on or off or Staff seats.

Your shop has no items yet

If your trial ended before you added any items, a sheet can open once on Home. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) It is called Your shop has no items yet. It says: "Your free trial ended before anything went on the shelf, so customers had nothing to order." It also says that Grow can then fill your shelf from photos of what you sell.

  • Tap Bring back my storefront to open Billing and pay.
  • Tap Not now to close it. You can still pay later from the box on Home.

If you have your own domain

Does your shop have its own domain (its own web address), like yourshop.mv? While you are paused, customers who open it see a special page. Every page of your domain shows it.

Customers see

a shop sign that says "Online orders" (in capital letters) and "Paused". Under your logo and name: "This shop isn’t taking orders on its website right now. You can still order from them directly."

The page has buttons to call you, or message you on WhatsApp or Viber. They use the numbers you show customers. Under the buttons, a card says: "Already placed an order? The shop still has it. Message or call them for an update."

With no numbers, the page has no buttons and no card. It says "Please check back soon." instead.

At the bottom of the page, "Own this shop? Renew on Eveyla" opens the Eveyla sign in page.

When you pay, your domain shows your shop again. See Use your own domain.

Who can use it

Only the owner sees the box on Home, and only the owner can pay. Team members should ask the owner.

If this happens

I can't find Billing in Settings

On a free listing, Settings has Upgrade to Storefront instead of Billing. Use the box on Home. Or tap your shop name at the top left, then Billing & trial.

Billing says Not live

The label says Not live and a grey box says "Not live yet". This means your shop has not had a Storefront yet, so nothing is paused. To open a Storefront, see Free listing and Storefront.

I paid, but my storefront is still paused

Look at Home. If it says Payment under review, Eveyla has your slip. On Billing, a card says Checking your payment and "Usually the same day". Your storefront comes back as soon as your payment is confirmed. If your payment has a red cross on Billing, see Pay your Eveyla bill.

Customers say they can't order

Your shop page shows as a free listing, with no basket. Customers can still message you. Pay to bring your storefront back.

Does your bar still show Orders? Then your storefront is not paused. Look at the top right of the order board. If it says Paused, you stopped new orders yourself. See Pause and restart orders. Something else? See Customers can't order.

Tip

Keep your phone, WhatsApp and Viber numbers up to date. While your storefront is paused, they are how customers reach you. With no numbers, your listing page says "Contact unavailable". See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.
