I can't find a page or button

Why it is missing

There are five usual reasons:

• Your role does not have it.
• Your shop is a free listing.
• It needs an add⁠-⁠on.
• A switch in Settings is off.
• It is out of sight: in All, or on a wide computer screen.

Each one is explained below.

Your role does not have it

Each person in a team has a role: owner, senior manager, manager or staff. The bar at the bottom only shows the pages your role can use:

• Owner: Orders, POS, Items, Insights, Settings
• Senior manager: Orders, POS, Items, Insights
• Manager: Orders, POS, Items
• Staff: Orders, POS

Only the owner has Settings and Grow (your shop assistant). In the shop menu, only the owner sees Billing & trial, Finish setting up and Settings. Promos, Staff & roles and Add⁠-⁠ons are for the owner only too.

Sometimes you open a page your role cannot use, for example from a link. Eveyla then takes you back to the order board, with no message.

Need it? Ask the owner. The owner can change your role. See What each role can do and Change someone's role or remove them.

Your shop is a free listing

On a free listing, the bar at the bottom has only Home and Settings. Settings is for the owner. There is no POS, Items or Insights. You change your items on Home.

Settings is shorter too. The Add⁠-⁠ons card is not there. The Delivery & payments and Promos & reviews groups are not there either.

Some pages are not in your plan. They show a card that says Not included in your plan. It shows the name of the feature, and your plan on the right, like "Listing". Tap Talk to Eveyla to ask about it.

To get these pages, open a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront. Was your shop a Storefront before? See My storefront is paused.

It needs an add⁠-⁠on

Add⁠-⁠ons are extras you can add to a Storefront. Until your shop has the add⁠-⁠on, you see signs like these:

• In Settings, tap Storefront. It says "Layout, look, colours" under it. On the page that opens, the Sections row shows an orange Add⁠-⁠on label. Tap it to see the add⁠-⁠on.
• In the item sheet, Packs can show a small lock with Add⁠-⁠on under it.
• In the item sheet, tap All. Features that need an add⁠-⁠on are in the Add⁠-⁠ons group. Each one says Add⁠-⁠on.
• A page can show a card that says Available as an add⁠-⁠on. Tap Try it on my shop to see the add⁠-⁠on.

Only the owner can get an add⁠-⁠on. The owner taps the Add⁠-⁠ons card near the top of Settings. See Turn an add⁠-⁠on on or off.

A switch is off

Some tabs and buttons only show when a setting is on. The owner turns them on in Settings.

For the POS tab:

1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
2. Under Storefront, turn on the Counter (POS) switch.

For the Collect button at the top of the order board:

1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
2. Under Delivery & payments, tap Delivery.
3. If They collect from me has no tick, tap it.
4. Turn on Check receipts at pickup.
5. Tap Save.

For the No GST button in the item sheet:

1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
2. Under Delivery & payments, tap Tax & GST.
3. Turn on Registered for GST.
4. Type your tax number in the TIN box.
5. Tap Save.

It is out of sight

• In the item sheet, the round buttons show only some features. Tap All at the end of the row to see every one. A number like "+3" on All says how many more there are. There, you can type in the "Find a feature" box. See Change an item's name, photos, price or details.
• A pale button with words like "Not with sizes" cannot be on with that other feature. Turn the other one off first.
• The Prep sheet button is on the order board, in Live. It shows when online orders are waiting to be made or packed. See Use the prep sheet.
• On a phone, the green Grow tab is on the left edge of the order board only. See Meet Grow, your shop assistant.
• Shortcuts only show on a wide computer screen. Make the window wider. See Find your way around the app.
