Turn on the Counter
Show or hide the POS tab, where your team sells to customers who are in your shop.

What it is
The Counter is the screen for selling to someone standing in front of you. Its tab is called POS. Sales you make there go into your reports with your online orders. One switch in Settings shows or hides the POS tab for your whole team.
Find it
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Near the top, find the group called Storefront.
- Find Counter (POS), the last row in that group. It says "Show the in-app sales counter" under it.
On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.
If you do not see Counter (POS), your shop is a free listing. The Counter needs a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.
Every setting
To show the POS tab:
- Tap the switch on the right of Counter (POS). It turns green.
- Look at the bar at the bottom. A POS tab is now there, next to Orders.
There is no Save button. The switch saves when you tap it.
Counter (POS)
This switch has two choices:
- On (green): the POS tab shows in the bar at the bottom, for everyone in your team. On a computer, it shows in the bar on the left.
- Off (grey): the POS tab is gone from the bar.
New shops start with it on. If you see POS in the bar, the switch is on.
Customers never see the Counter. It is only in your app.
When you opened your shop, the app asked "What brought you to Eveyla?". If you picked Sell at my counter and tapped Continue, the app turned the switch on for you. See Your first minutes in the app.
The POS tab
Tap POS in the bar at the bottom. The Counter opens, with Counter at the top.
The first time you open it, a tip called "Selling at the counter" may show. Tap Got it to close it.

Who can use it
Only the shop owner can show or hide the POS tab, because only the owner sees Settings.
When the switch is on, everyone in your team sees the POS tab: the owner, senior managers, managers and staff.
The Counter needs a Storefront. It is not part of the free listing.
Common mistakes
I can't find Counter (POS) in Settings
Your shop is a free listing. The Counter needs a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.
My team can't see the POS tab
The switch is off. Only the owner can switch it on:
- Tap Settings.
- Tap the switch on Counter (POS). It turns green.
I tap the switch and nothing changes
The switch did not save. Check that your phone has internet. Then tap the switch again.

Record every sale in your shop on the Counter, even small ones. Then your reports show all your sales, not only your online orders. See Close the day.
