Where customers look

The Eveyla shop list is at shop.eveyla.com. Customers look there for local shops. They pick their island, browse categories like Bakery & cakes, or search. Your shop is in the list as long as it is visible to customers. If you hide your shop, it leaves the list. See Hide or show your shop.

Find it

  1. Open your phone's browser.
  2. Go to shop.eveyla.com.

When you are signed in, your shop shows at the top in a box called Your shop. When you open Eveyla from your home screen, it can open on this page too.

What customers see

The top of the page

At the top, customers see Delivering to and an island. They see shops on that island, and shops that deliver there.

To change the island, they tap it. A sheet called Where are you? opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) They tap their island. They can also type its name in the Search island or atoll box first.

Customers can search for an item or a shop with the search box. Below it, they can tap a category under Browse. They can also tap Open now, Free delivery, Top rated or Verified to filter the shops.

Groups of shops

The shop list puts shops in groups:

  • Order now: Storefront shops that are open now.
  • Opens later: Storefront shops that are closed right now.
  • Sends by ferry: shops on other islands that can send to the customer's island by ferry.
  • More shops, order by message: free listings. Customers tap it to see them. They order by WhatsApp or Viber.

At the bottom, a button like Every shop, A to Z shows every shop by name. When an island is picked, the button names it.

Your card in the shop list

Storefront shops show as a card in the groups. Free listings show as a row instead (see below). Your card shows:

  • your logo, or the first letters of your shop name
  • your shop name, with the green badge if you are a verified seller
  • your stars, like "★ 4.7". A new shop with no ratings yet shows "New".
  • your island
  • how you deliver: "Free delivery", "MVR 30 delivery", "Pickup only" or "By ferry"
  • a label on the right: Open, Pre-order, Ferry, or when you open next, like "Opens 16:00" or "Closed now"
  • photos of some of your items, with prices, and "+12 items" for the rest

If your items have no photos, the card shows the number of items, like "12 items". It also says "See the shop".

Customers see

your shop page when they tap your card.

Your row in a list

Shops show as a row in these places:

  • More shops, order by message
  • Every shop, A to Z
  • category pages

When customers tap a category, they see the shops in it under All shops. At the top, the page shows the customer's island, or "All of the Maldives".

Your row shows:

  • your category, your shop name, the badge and your stars
  • your island
  • when you are open, like "Open till 22:00", "Opens Mon 09:00", "Closed now" or "Pre-order"
  • Cart if customers order in the app (a Storefront), or Message if they order by message (a free listing)
  • on the right, your delivery fee or "Free", and where you deliver, like "to Malé", "3 islands" or "nationwide"
  • "Free over 500" if you give free delivery over an amount

A free listing shows WhatsApp, Viber or Message on the right instead of the fee.

Customers can filter a category page with Open now, Verified, Free delivery and In-app cart.

What changes your card or row

The owner changes these in Settings:

Your stars come from reviews. See Get and see reviews. Item photos come from your items. See Change an item's name, photos, price or details. Cart or Message depends on your plan. See Free listing and Storefront.

Your shop box

When you are signed in and open shop.eveyla.com, your shop sits at the top. The box says Your shop (in small capital letters). It shows:

  • your logo and shop name
  • Open or Closed. It does not show while your shop is hidden.
  • Order board: opens the app on your order board. If you have new orders, it shows how many, like "3 new". On a free listing, it opens Home.
  • Counter: opens the Counter (the POS tab). If your shop does not use the Counter, you can ignore this button. See Turn on the Counter.
  • Add items: on a Storefront, opens your Items page. Staff do not see this button.
  • View my shop: opens your shop page, the way customers see it.

Under the box, it says Shopping in and an island. Tap it to pick an island. Then you see the shops there, like a customer.

When you are signed out, the top of the page shows My shop. Tap it to sign in.

Who can use it

Free listings and Storefronts both show in the shop list.

Everyone in your team sees the Your shop box when signed in. Staff do not see Add items. Only the owner can change the settings that change your card or row.

If this happens

I can't find my shop in the list

First, check the island at the top. Customers see your shop when it is on their island or delivers there. Tap the island and pick yours, or search for your shop name.

Customers can also find your shop in Every shop, A to Z, in search and on your category page.

Then check that your shop is visible:

  1. Tap Order board in your shop box.
  2. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down to Visibility.
  4. Look at Visible to customers. Under it, it should say "Showing in directory and your links".

If it says "Hidden. Customers cannot open your shop", see Hide or show your shop.

My shop says Closed now

Your opening hours say you are closed, or your orders are paused. See Set your opening hours and Pause and restart orders.

My shop is in the wrong category

Change your category. See Choose your shop category.

Tip

Add clear photos to your items. On a Storefront, your card in the shop list shows some of them. Customers can see what you sell before they tap.
