Let customers pick up
Let customers come to your place to collect their order, and tell them where to come.

What it is
Pickup means the customer comes to your place to collect the order. There is no delivery fee. You can offer pickup next to delivery, or on its own. You can also add a Collect button to your order board, to hand over pickup orders.
Find it
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Delivery & payments.
- Tap Delivery. A sheet called Delivery opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Find the second card, They collect from me.
On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.
Every setting
When you are done, tap Save at the bottom of the sheet. The sheet closes.
They collect from me
Under the title, the app says "Customer comes to your place." Tap the card to turn pickup on. It turns green and gets a tick. The card opens, with Pickup location and Check receipts at pickup. Tap the card again to turn pickup off.
After you save, the grey line under Delivery ends with "· pickup". If you do not deliver, it says "Pickup only".
Customers seea Pickup choice at checkout (the last page, where customers place the order). It is marked "Free". Under it, your pickup place and "The shop calls you when it is ready."
If pickup is your only way, customers do not need to pick it. Their basket says "Pickup from" with your shop name and place. At checkout, a line called Getting it shows "Pickup from" and your shop name. If you take pre-orders, checkout also asks when they want it. See Take orders for later.
If they pay cash, checkout tells them "Pay when you collect."
When you open a pickup order on your order board, the top says "Pickup at shop". To move it along, see Accept an order and move it along.
Customers seeon their order page, the last two steps are "Ready" and "Collected". See What customers see after they order.
Do you also deliver, with a minimum order? Then the I deliver to them card has a switch called Below the minimum, allow pickup. Turn it on to let smaller orders be picked up. See Set where you deliver and your fees.
Pickup location
This is where customers come to collect. Type a short place: your shop name, the street and a landmark (a place nearby that people know). The box shows an example in grey.
- If your shop address is set in Location, the box is called Pickup location, with "(optional)" after it. Under it, the app says "Leave blank to use your shop address:" and your address. Leave it empty to use that address.
- If you have no shop address, the box is called Pickup location, and you must fill it in. Under it, the app says "Shown to customers at checkout."
Customers seethis place under Pickup at checkout. If pickup is your only way, they also see it in their basket.
Dine-in uses the same place. When pickup and dine-in are both on, only Pickup location shows. See Take dine-in orders.
Check receipts at pickup
This switch is under Pickup location. It starts off. The app says: "Adds Collect to your order board. Your team finds the order from the last 4 digits of the buyer's bank receipt, then hands it over with a record of who and how."
When it is on, a green Collect button shows at the top right of your order board. Your team taps it when a customer comes to collect. See Hand over pickup orders with Collect.
On a computer, it is a box at the top that says "Collect · ref, phone, name or #".
Customers seenothing changes for them.
If you turn off They collect from me and tap Save, this switch turns off too.
Who can use it
Only the owner can turn on pickup and set the place. Team members do not see Settings. Everyone in the team can use the Collect button on the order board.
It needs a Storefront. It is not part of the free listing.
Common mistakes
A red message says "Add your pickup location, or set your shop address in Location settings."
Eveyla does not know where customers should come. Type the place in Pickup location. Or add your address in Location. See Set your island and address. Then tap Save.
I do not see Collect on my order board
Collect shows only when They collect from me and Check receipts at pickup are both on. Turn both on. Tap Save. Then tap Orders in the bar at the bottom. Collect is at the top right.
Customers with small orders cannot check out
Your Min order (MVR) counts for pickup too. In the I deliver to them card, turn on Below the minimum, allow pickup. Then tap Save.
Customers call to ask where to come
When Pickup location is empty, customers only see your shop address. Type a clear place with a landmark in Pickup location. Then tap Save.
Tip
Add a landmark to your Pickup location, like "near the clinic". Customers find you faster and call you less.
