What it is

Brand colours put your own colour on your shop page. You pick two colours. Your brand colour goes on the top of the page, the buttons and the links. Your accent colour goes on your promo banner and the small Deal and Sale labels. Brand colours is an add-on (an extra you can add to your Storefront). It also comes free with your own domain (your own web address).

Colours sits on your Storefront page, next to your look and your cover text. See Choose your shop's look.

Find it

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Scroll down to Your link.
  3. Tap Storefront. It says Layout, look, colours under it.
  4. Under Style, tap Colours. A page called Colours opens.

On a computer, Settings is in the bar on the left.

On the Storefront page, the Colours row shows two round dots. They are your brand colour and your accent colour. Before you save colours, the first dot is grey. The example shop at the top of that page also uses your colours.

If there is no Storefront row under Your link, your shop is a free listing. Brand colours need a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront.

If the Colours page shows a lock, see "If Colours is locked" below.

Every setting

At the top, the page says Shop colors. Under it are an example shop and a Day and Night switch. Then come the colour squares.

To change your colours:

  1. Under Brand colour (in capital letters), tap a colour square. A tick shows on it.
  2. Scroll down to Accent colour (in capital letters).
  3. Tap a colour square under it.
  4. Scroll up to the example shop. It shows your new colours.
  5. Tap Save colour at the bottom of the page.

A green box says "Saved. Your storefront now wears these colors." Your shop page now uses your colours.

To check, tap the back arrow at the top left. Then, under Your shop, tap Open my shop. Your shop page opens.

If Colours is locked

The colours are faded, with a lock on top. The page says "An add-on, or free with your own domain." There are two ways to get colours:

  • The add-on: tap Try your colours on your shop. The Brand colours add-on opens. Tap colours to try them on a picture of your shop. Nothing is saved there. To buy the add-on, tap Get Brand colours. You see the price before you pay. See Turn an add-on on or off.
  • Your own domain: colours come free with it. See Use your own domain.

When the add-on is on, or your domain works, come back to Colours. The lock is gone and you can pick your colours.

Day and Night

Under the example shop is a switch with Day and Night. Day is picked when you start. Tap Night to see your colours on a dark background. This only changes the example.

Customers see

your night colours after they tap the moon button at the top of your shop page.

Brand colour

Next to it, the app says "Header, buttons, chips, links". The header is the coloured strip at the top of your shop page. Chips are the small round buttons, like your categories.

There are nine colour squares, then a rainbow square with a pencil for your own colour. Eveyla green, the first square, is picked when you start.

Under the squares, a card shows the colour's name and its code, like "Ocean" and "#1B6FA8". It says Default when you have Eveyla green and Berry, the first accent colour.

Under the card, a line says your buttons and text stay easy to read, in day and night. The app may change your colour a little to do this. With a light or bright colour, it says "Light color. Button text switched to dark so it stays readable."

Customers see

your brand colour at the top of your shop page. Its buttons, chips and links use it too. So do your basket, order page, pay links and checkout (the last page, where customers place the order).

The rainbow square

The last square is a rainbow with a pencil.

  1. Tap the rainbow square. Your phone's colour picker opens.
  2. Pick any colour. The card then says Custom colour.

A box called Hex code (in capital letters) shows under the card. A hex code is a colour written as 6 letters and numbers, like 1B6FA8. If you know your logo's code, type it here. Then tap outside the box. The card and the example shop change to your colour. If the code is wrong, the box goes back to the last colour.

Accent colour

Next to it, the app says "Promos, Deal and Sale".

There are nine colour squares, then a rainbow square with a pencil. Berry (pink), the first square, is picked when you start. The card under the squares says Default for Berry. Tap the rainbow square to pick any colour. The accent has no Hex code box.

Under the card, a line checks your two colours:

  • "Your accent stands clear of your brand colour, so a Deal badge still reads as a deal." Your colours are fine.
  • "Your accent is very close to your brand colour. Deal badges and promo banners will blend into the page instead of standing out." You can still save. But pick a different accent so deals stand out.
Customers see

your accent colour on your promo banner and on the small Deal and Sale labels.

Save colour

Nothing changes on your shop until you tap Save colour. The button is grey until you change something.

Under the button, the app says: "Your colors show on your storefront, on your own domain and on your Eveyla link. This dashboard stays green." Your Eveyla app keeps its green colour. Only your customers' pages change.

When someone shares your shop link in WhatsApp or Viber, the chat shows a picture of your shop. When your own domain is live, that picture uses your brand colour too. See Share your shop link and QR code.

Cancel

Tap Cancel to go back without saving. The back arrow at the top left does the same.

Go back to the standard colours

  1. Under Brand colour, tap the first square, Eveyla green.
  2. Under Accent colour, tap the first square, Berry.
  3. Check that the card says Default.
  4. Tap Save colour.

Your shop goes back to the standard Eveyla colours. For food shops, that can be orange, not green.

Who can use it

Only the shop owner can change colours. Senior managers, managers and staff do not see Settings.

Brand colours need a Storefront. Then you need the Brand colours add-on, or your own domain. You can see the add-on price in the add-on store.

Common mistakes

The Colours page shows a lock

Your shop does not have Brand colours yet. Get the add-on, or ask for your own domain. See "If Colours is locked" above.

My shop did not change colour

Tap Save colour before you leave, and wait for the green box. The back arrow and Cancel do not save.

If a red box shows instead, your colours were not saved. Tap Save colour again. If the red box comes back, see Contact Eveyla.

The Colours row says Waiting for domain

Your colours came with your own domain, and the domain is not working now. Your colours are kept. The Colours page says "Your colors are saved. They come back the moment your domain is live again." To ask about your domain, see Contact Eveyla.

My deals do not stand out

The app warns "Your accent is very close to your brand colour." Pick an accent that looks very different. For example, a blue brand colour with an orange accent.

The Eveyla app is still green

That is how it works. The app says "This dashboard stays green." Your colours show on your shop page, not in your Eveyla app.

Tip

Use the exact colour from your logo. Tap the rainbow square with the pencil and pick any colour. A Hex code box shows. Type your logo's code there. Then tap outside the box. Last, pick an accent that looks very different, so your deals stand out.
