What it is

Some parts of your page have styles. A style changes how a part looks, not what is in it. For example, your items can show as a photo grid or as a menu list. Styles are part of the Section builder add-on.

To show, hide or move parts, see Section builder: design your shop page.

Find it

  1. Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Scroll down to Your link.
  3. Tap Storefront. It says Layout, look, colours under it.
  4. Under Style, tap Sections. A page called Your page opens.
  5. Tap the name of a part that has an arrow (›), like Shop header. A sheet with the part's name opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)

On a computer, click the part in the list on the left. Or click it on the page in the middle. Its styles show on the right.

These parts have styles: Shop header, Your items, Featured items, Delivery & pickup, Footer, Categories, Reviews and Contact. Which ones you have depends on your look. Parts without an arrow have no styles. You can only show, hide or move them.

Every setting

To change a style:

  1. Tap the part's name.
  2. Tap a style. It turns green.
  3. Tap Done at the bottom of the sheet.
  4. Tap Save at the bottom right of Your page.

For Shop header, Featured items, Delivery & pickup and Footer, the sheet closes when you tap a style. Then go to step 4.

The line under the part's name now shows your choice. Tap Preview to check it. Nothing changes for customers until you tap Save.

Small headings in these sheets, like Layout, show in capital letters.

Standard

Shop header, Featured items, Delivery & pickup and Footer each have a list that starts with Standard. Under it, the app says "The usual style for your shop's look". Your items has a Standard tile. Standard is picked when you start.

Standard follows your look. So on some looks, Standard and one of the styles look the same. For example, on Market, Standard is Full width. If you change your look later, a part on Standard changes with it.

Shop header

The top of your page, with your logo and name.

  • Full width: your shop colour across the top of the page.
  • Slim and sticky: a slim bar that stays at the top while customers scroll.
  • Name card: your name on a white card over a band in your colour.

The line under each style changes with your look. Tap Preview to see how a style looks on your page. On Shelf, Name card is Standard, so it is not in the list.

See What customers see on your shop page.

Your items: Layout

At the top of the Your items sheet, two example items show how your choices look. Under Layout are four tiles:

  • Standard: Photo grid on Market, Menu list on Feast, Shelf cards on Shelf.
  • Photo grid: your items as photos in a grid. Food shops see a list instead.
  • Menu list: your items in a list, like a menu.
  • Shelf: big cards that fit how many items you have. Items without a photo get a name tag. On the Shelf look, this is Standard, so it is not in the list.

Add button

Under Add button, pick the button customers tap to add an item: Square, Round, Add or Outline. Under the tiles is Standard button for your look. It is picked when you start.

You can also open this from the ··· menu. Tap ···, then tap Add button style under Appearance. The Your items sheet opens.

Customers see

the button you picked on your item cards.

After the first tap

This says what the add button does after a customer taps it once. Tap one of the two choices. The one you picked turns white.

  • Stays a button: "Each tap adds one more. The cart shows the total."
  • Becomes − 1 +: after the first tap, customers change the amount on the item. The example item on the right shows this.

What is picked when you start depends on your look. Market starts on Stays a button. Feast and Shelf start on Becomes − 1 +.

If Standard button for your look was picked, changing this also picks your look's own button, like Square.

The app says: "Also used by Featured items. The cart and item pages keep their own counter."

The row of items you put at the top of your shop. It is on Market and Feast.

  • Side scroll: "Items slide sideways in a row".
  • Swipe cards: "Large cards customers swipe through".
Customers see

a row called "Featured" with Side scroll, or "Popular right now" with Swipe cards.

To choose which items show here, see Choose the order items show in.

Delivery & pickup

How your delivery, times and payment show. It is on Feast and Shelf.

  • Fold-out: "One line that opens to show delivery, times and payment".
  • Three tiles: "Delivery, times and payment side by side, always open". On Shelf, this is Standard, so it is not in the list.

The last line of your page.

  • Stacked: "Links stacked on top of each other".
  • One line: "Links side by side on one line".
Customers see

the Eveyla line and the Privacy and Terms links, in the style you picked. One line also says your order goes straight to your shop.

Categories

Under Look, pick the style of your category buttons. Each choice has a small example.

  • Pills (picked when you start): "Rounded chips. How it looks today."
  • Underlined: "Plain words, with a line under the one you are on".
  • Boxes: "Soft squares, easy to tap".

On Feast, the app says: "On computers, the side list keeps its own look."

Customers see

the row of category buttons above your items in that style.

See Sort items into categories.

Reviews

Under Style, tap List or Carousel:

  • List (picked when you start): "Stacked one under another. How it looks today."
  • Carousel: "One at a time, customers swipe for more."

Under Reviews shown, tap − or + to pick how many written reviews show. You can pick from 0 to 10. At 0, the app says "Only the star rating shows".

Customers see

"What customers say" with that many reviews, then a link to read all of them.

See Get and see reviews.

Contact

Under Social links, choose where your social links go. Contact is on Market and Feast.

  • Beside the buttons (picked when you start): "With WhatsApp, Viber and Call. How it looks today."
  • On their own line: "Chat buttons first, social links smaller below".

See Add your phone, WhatsApp, Viber and social links.

Parts with no styles

On a phone, these parts have no arrow. On a computer, clicking one says it "has no styles to choose from. It fills itself from your shop details."

Who can use it

Only the shop owner can change styles. Senior managers, managers and staff do not see Settings.

Styles need a Storefront and the Section builder add-on. You can see the price in the add-on store.

Common mistakes

I picked a style, but my shop looks the same

Tap Save at the bottom right, and wait until it says All saved. If it still looks the same, the style may be the same as Standard on your look. Try another style and check it in Preview.

My style changed when I changed my look

The part was on Standard, and Standard follows your look. Open the part and pick a style by name. Then tap Save.

Not every part is on every look. Featured items and Contact are not on Shelf. Delivery & pickup is not on Market. See Choose your shop's look.

Customers see this row only when items at the top of your shop are not sold out. Items set to launch later do not show in it. The row also hides while a customer searches. See Choose the order items show in and Launch an item later with a countdown.

Tip

Try a style, then tap Preview. Tap Phone and Desktop at the top of the preview to see it both ways. If you do not like it, close the preview: tap the handle on its left edge. Then tap the round undo arrow at the top of Your page.
