What it is
This is Step 3 of the prep sheet. It lists every place your orders go: ferries, areas of Malé, islands, air cargo, and pickup at your shop. A place is ready to send once all its orders are packed. You pick who takes them, share one list with that person, and mark the orders on the way.
Find it
- Tap Orders in the bar at the bottom.
- Tap Live at the top, if it is not picked.
- Tap Prep sheet on the right of the same row.
- Scroll down to Step 3, Send them out.
- Tap Start sending. It says See places when no place is fully packed yet.
A page called Send them out opens.
On a computer, Prep sheet is at the top right of the order board.
Every setting
To send a place with your rider:
- Find a place with a green Send button.
- Tap Send. A sheet opens, like Send Henveiru. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Under Who's taking them?, look for your rider's name. A picked name is dark, with a tick. If your rider's name is not picked, tap it.
- Tap Share the list with … at the bottom. The button shows your rider's name. Your phone's share menu opens.
- Pick WhatsApp or Viber.
- Send the list to your rider.
- Come back to Eveyla. The sheet asks if your rider has left, like "Has Ali left?"
- When your rider leaves, tap Yes, mark 3 orders on the way. The button shows how many orders go.
The first time, there is no name to pick. In step 3, tap Add a name. Type the name, and tap Add.
The app says "3 orders on the way". The orders leave the prep sheet. When they arrive, mark them delivered on your order board. See Accept an order and move it along.
Customers seetheir order page changes. For example, a delivery says "Almost yours", a ferry order says "On the boat", and air cargo says "Flying to you".
Send them out on the prep sheet
On the prep sheet, Step 3 has a card with one line. It says "Places show up here as soon as all their orders are packed." Or it names what is ready, like "Henveiru is fully packed." or "2 pickup orders are packed."
If a ferry has a time, a clock line says "First ferry leaves at 14:30" in orange. Once that time has passed, it says "A ferry was due to leave at 14:30" in red.
The list of places
At the top you see "Step 3 of 3", the title, and "A place is ready to send once all its orders are packed."
This page shows every place, even if you picked one place under Pack for. See Prep sheet step 2: pack the orders.
The places are in parts, in this order. A part shows only when it has places.
- Ferries leaving today (or Ferries): each ferry, like "Ferry to Thinadhoo". When one boat goes to several islands, the row has the boat's name, like "Sea Star ferry". Under it: "Leaves 14:30, in 25 min", then the boat and where it leaves from. The time is orange when the boat leaves soon. It says "Was due 14:30" in red when the time has passed, or "No departure time". An orange line like "Leaves from Hulhumalé" shows when the boat leaves from another island. Ferries for later days are in one row, like "1 more ferry, tomorrow or later". Tap it to see them.
- Malé: areas like Henveiru, Galolhu, Machchangolhi, Maafannu and Vilimalé.
- Other islands: it is called Deliveries when you have no Malé orders.
- Air cargo
- Picked up at the shop: Pickup and Dine-in.
Each place has a line under its name:
- "1 order, packed" or "3 orders, all packed", in green
- "2 orders, not packed yet" or "1 of 3 packed", in grey
Some lines add "· 1 not accepted" or "· 1 payment to check". That means an order is not accepted yet, or a payment needs a look. If every order there is packed, the line then turns orange.
A place where every order is packed has a green Send button. The others have an arrow. Pickup and Dine-in have no Send button. See Tell 2 it's ready below.
When everything has gone, the page says "Nothing left to send" and "Everything here has gone out."
Orders for one place
- Tap a place's name, or its arrow. A sheet with the place's name opens.
- Tap an order to pack it. See Prep sheet step 2: pack the orders.
The sheet says how many are packed, like "1 of 3 packed". Each order shows a circle, the number and the customer's name. The circle is a green tick when the order is packed. A small line says more, like "Not accepted yet · Slip not confirmed yet · 2 Mas Roshi, Tea".
Pick their area
Some Malé addresses do not say the area. Those orders show in an orange row, like "2 orders with no area" and "Tap to pick their area". You cannot send them from here until you pick an area.
- Tap the orange row. A sheet called Pick their area opens. It says "These Malé addresses don't start with H., M., G., Ma. or V. Tap the area once and the order joins that place."
- Read each order's number, name and address.
- Tap its area: Henveiru, Galolhu, Machchangolhi, Maafannu or Vilimalé.
The order leaves the list and joins that area. When no orders are left, the sheet says "All set". Customers do not see the area.
If the address is not in Malé, or it says "No address given", do not pick an area. Open the order from your order board and send it from there. See Send an order out for delivery.
Send Henveiru
This sheet opens when you tap Send. The title is the place, like Send Henveiru. For a ferry, it is the ferry's name. When you add places, it says Send 2 places. Under the title: "3 orders, all packed".
In this part, Ali is an example rider. The sheet shows your rider's name instead.
Who's taking them? shows the names you used before. The name you used last is picked when the sheet opens. A picked name is dark, with a tick. Tap a name to pick it, or tap it again to unpick it.
To add a name, tap Someone else (it has a + sign). When there are no names yet, it says Add a name. Type the name in the box that says "Their name", and tap Add. The app keeps a name on this phone after you tap Share the list.
Add another place to this trip? shows other places that are fully packed, like "Galolhu, 3 ready". Tap one to add it to the same list. A tick shows. Tap it again to take it off. A ferry only shows with other ferries that leave the same day.
When a payment is not confirmed, an orange note says "1 payment isn't confirmed yet. The list tells Ali not to collect for it."
What Ali gets shows the start of the list. Tap See all to read all of it, and Show less to fold it again.
Share the list with Ali opens your phone's share menu. Under it, the app says "After you share, we'll ask if Ali has left. Then customers see On the way." If your phone has no share menu, the app copies the list and says "Copied. Paste it in WhatsApp." If copying fails, it says "Couldn't copy. Try again."
With no rider picked, the button says Share the list. The sheet then says "the rider" instead of a name, like "What the rider gets".
If you already sent the list another way, tap Already sent it? Mark on the way.
Then the sheet asks "Has Ali left?" and says "Each customer's tracking page changes to On the way. You mark them delivered from the orders board."
- Yes, mark 3 orders on the way marks the orders on the way.
- Not yet closes the sheet. Nothing changes.
What the rider gets
The list starts with your shop name, the word "deliveries" and the rider's name. Then the date and how many orders. Each place has a title in capital letters, like "HENVEIRU · 3". For each order, the list has:
- the order number and name, like "#12 Aisha", and the phone numbers
- the address and the island
- for a ferry: "Boat:", "Boat phone:" and "Write on parcel:"
- "Doorstep delivery: bring it up to the door." if the customer asked for it
- "Note:" with the customer's note
- "Items:" with each item, like "2 × Chocolate cake"
- what to collect, like "Collect MVR 200" or "Paid, nothing to collect"
- "Deliver" with the day and time, for a pre-order
At the end, it says "Total to collect: MVR 450" when there is cash to collect. The money lines are the same as on each order's packing page. See Prep sheet step 2: pack the orders.
Customers do not see this list.
Tell 2 it's ready
This is for pickup and dine-in orders. Under Picked up at the shop, the Pickup row says "1 of 3 packed" or "3 orders, all packed". When some are packed, a button shows, like Tell 2 it's ready.
- Tap Tell 2 it's ready.
The app says "Told 2 customers it's ready". Only packed orders change. They leave the prep sheet. The Dine-in row works the same way.
Customers see"Come collect" on their order page for pickup, or "Time to eat" for dine-in.
When the customer comes, hand over the order from your order board. See Accept an order and move it along and Hand over pickup orders with Collect.
Who can use it
Everyone in your team can send orders out: the owner, senior managers, managers and staff.
The prep sheet needs a Storefront.
Common mistakes
A place has no Send button
Not all its orders are packed. Tap the place's name to see which ones. Tap an order to pack it.
The orders are still there after I shared the list
Sharing does not move the orders. Tap Send again. Then tap Already sent it? Mark on the way, and Yes, mark 3 orders on the way.
I see "2 orders with no area"
Tap the row and pick each order's area. Until you do, you cannot send these orders from the prep sheet.
My rider's name is gone
The app keeps a name on this phone only after you tap Share the list. A name you used only with Already sent it? Mark on the way is not kept. On another phone, tap Add a name (or Someone else). Type the name, and tap Add.
The list says "do not collect"
The customer's payment is not confirmed yet. Check the payment before the rider leaves. See Check a payment slip and confirm payment.
Tip
Places on the same route can go in one trip. After you tap Send, look under Add another place to this trip? Tap each place on the same route. Your rider gets one list for the whole trip. You mark every order on the way with one tap.
