What it is
A pay link opens a page with the bill, where your customer pays you. You make it on the Counter (the POS tab), from the items you tap. You send it on WhatsApp or Viber. Or the customer scans a QR code (a square code that a phone camera can read). The order waits on your order board until they pay.
Find it
- Tap POS in the bar at the bottom. The Counter opens.
- Tap the items your customer wants.
- Tap Charge in the green bar at the bottom. A sheet called Charge opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- Under Paid later, tap Pay link.
The top of the sheet now says Link for (in capital letters) and the total.
On a computer, POS is in the bar on the left. Tap Charge · MVR 95 at the bottom of the sale, on the right.
If you do not see POS, check your plan. A free listing has no Counter and no pay links. See Free listing and Storefront. On a Storefront, the owner can show the POS tab. See Turn on the Counter.

The Discount button still works with a pay link. See Give a discount at the Counter.

Link ready
This sheet opens after you tap Create pay link. The title is "Link ready for Aisha". A bill with no name shows the table instead, like "Link ready for Table 4". Under the title is a line like "Order #41 · MVR 95 · waiting on your board".
For Pickup, Delivery and Ferry links, you see:

Who can use it
Everyone on your team who can open the Counter can send a pay link: the owner, senior managers, managers and staff. Only the owner can change Unpaid links close after, because only the owner sees Settings.
Pay links need a Storefront. They are not part of the free listing.
Common mistakes
I can't find Pay link
Check these:
- No POS in the bar at the bottom: a free listing has no Counter, so pay links need a Storefront. See Free listing and Storefront. On a Storefront, the owner can show the POS tab. See Turn on the Counter.
- The Pay link button is grey and says "Needs internet": connect to the internet and try again.
Create pay link is grey
A grey line above the button says what to fix:
- "Nothing on the counter." Close the sheet and tap the items you want.
- "Add who it's for." Tap Add who it's for and pick a customer.
- "Turn on at least one way to pay." Tick a way under They can pay by.
- "Pick the delivery island." Tap Deliver to and pick the island.
- "Add the island it goes to." Type the island for a ferry link.
- "A pay link needs a total above zero." Add items, or make the discount smaller.
- "You're offline. A pay link needs a connection." Connect to the internet.
- "More than … has. Lower the count first." The place you sell from (it shows its name) has fewer of an item than you tapped. Tap the button that says how many items, like 3 items. Tap − next to the item to lower the count.
Bank transfer says add a bank account
Your shop has no bank account yet, so customers would not know where to send money. The owner adds one in Settings, under Payment details. See Add your bank account, PayPal and cash on delivery.
I closed Link ready before I sent the link
The link is not lost.
- Tap Orders in the bar at the bottom.
- Find the order under Waiting for payment.
- Tap the order.
- Tap Copy link.
- Paste it in your chat with the customer.
The link closed before the customer paid
The owner can give links more time in Unpaid links close after. To send the same items again, open the order and tap Make a new link with these items. See Follow up on a pay link.
Tip
Save each customer with their phone number. Then Link ready sends the link straight to their WhatsApp chat. You can also remind them later with one tap.
