What it is
Every pay link is an order on your order board. Its order page has a Payment card. The card shows if the customer has paid, what happened and when, and the buttons you need next. To send a link, see Send a pay link.
Find it
- Tap Orders in the bar at the bottom. The order board opens.
- Tap Live at the top.
- Find the order. Links not paid yet are under Waiting for payment. Links with something to check are under Needs you.
- Tap the order card. It has an orange Pay link label at the bottom. The order page opens.
On a computer, the order opens on the right side of the board.

Pay link cards on the board
Each pay link card has an orange Pay link label at the bottom. Next to it, a second label tells you about the payment:
- "Waiting to pay" or "Slip didn't match"
- "Slip sent" or "PayPal sent": the customer sent a payment slip (the photo of their transfer)
- "Cash on delivery", "Cash on pickup" or "Cash at the counter": they chose to pay cash
- "Paid by transfer", "Paid by PayPal" or "Paid in cash"
- "Paid late" or "Paid twice" (red)
- "Refunded", "Closed · Expired", "Closed · Items changed" or "Closed · Cancelled"
When the customer opens the link, a grey label says when, like "Seen 3:05 pm".
Cards under Waiting for payment also show how long is left, like "Closes in 40 min", "Closes in 23h" or "Closing now". A link that never closes shows "Open 2 days". These cards have two buttons:
- Remind: opens WhatsApp with a reminder. Without a phone number, it says Copy reminder. Paste the reminder in your chat with the customer.
- The small grey button on the right: copies the link. The app says "Link copied".
Other cards have one button for the next step:
- Check slip: opens the order so you can check the slip.
- Cash received: for a customer with you who chose cash. Tap it when you have the money.
- Accept order: the customer chose cash on delivery or pickup. This starts the order.
- Start packing or Mark preparing: the link is paid. This starts the order. Then you move it along as usual. See Accept an order and move it along.
- Refund or reopen or Check payment (red): see Paid late and Paid twice below.
- Confirm, a red Check, or Ask for MVR 5: Grow checked the slip. See Let Grow check payment slips.
Payment
The card at the top of the order page. On the left, a coloured label tells you about the payment, like "Waiting for payment", "Slip sent" or "Paid by transfer". On the right is the amount, like MVR 95.00.
Under it, a list shows what happened, with times. For example: "Link made and shared", "Aisha opened it" (or "Not opened yet"), "You reminded Aisha", "Sent a transfer slip" and "Payment confirmed by you".
The buttons under the list change with the payment. Each one is explained below.
Waiting for payment
When the link is not paid yet, an orange note says when it closes. For example: "Closes by itself today at 7:10 pm if still unpaid, and the stock comes back. Aisha can pay by transfer or cash."
If links never close, it says "Stays open until it's paid or you cancel it." The owner chooses how long links stay open. See Send a pay link.
Under the note:
- Remind Aisha on WhatsApp: opens WhatsApp with a reminder for Aisha. Without a phone number, it says Copy reminder. The list then says "You reminded Aisha".
- Show QR: opens Scan to pay. It shows a big QR code (a square code that a phone camera can read). The customer scans it. Tap the arrow at the top left to go back. See Send a pay link.
- Copy link: copies the link.
- Paid another way: see below.
- Change items: see below.
Bills for a customer who is with you (In person or Dine-in) are different. Show QR to pay is the big button at the top. There is no Remind button.
Customers see"Hi Aisha, a reminder about your [shop name] order #41. Total MVR 95.00. Pay here:" and the link.
Paid another way
Use this when the customer paid you without the link. For example, they gave you cash.
- Tap Paid another way. A sheet opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) It says "Marks #41 paid. Aisha's page shows paid."
- Tap Cash in hand or Transfer I can see in my bank.
- Tap Mark paid.
The app says "Marked paid."
Change items
You cannot change a link after you send it. The app says why: "A link can't change once it's sent, because Aisha may already be paying that amount."
- Tap Change items. A sheet called Change the items? opens.
- Tap Cancel and edit on the counter. The old link closes. The Counter (the POS tab) opens with the Charge sheet ready.
- Read the blue box: "Items from order #41. Check them, then send the new link." The customer, delivery and ways to pay are filled in from the old link.
- Tap the button that says how many items, like 3 items, at the top of the sheet.
- Tap − or + next to each item to change how many.
- Tap Create pay link.
- Send the new link from Link ready. See Send a pay link.
To add a new item, close the sheet and tap the item on the Counter. Then tap Charge and Pay link again. You need to fill in the customer and the other details again.
If the Counter already had items, the sheet warns: "The counter has items in it now. They'll be replaced."
Change items shows only while the link waits for payment and you have not started the order.
Customers see"This link has closed" and "[shop name] changed this order and will send you a new link." on the old link.
Start preparing before it's paid
You can start an order before the customer pays. On the order page, find the card with the order steps, like New and Preparing. Tap the white button in it. It says Start preparing before it's paid. For a shop's pickup orders, it says Start packing before it's paid.
Bills for a customer who is with you do not have this button.
After you start, the link no longer closes by itself. The note says "You've started this order, so it won't close by itself." The card moves to In progress on the board. Change items goes away.
Slip sent
When the customer sends a slip, the card shows the slip picture and "Aisha's transfer slip". It says "Check that MVR 95.00 reached your bank account before you confirm."
- Open your bank app.
- Look for the money.
- If it is there, tap Confirm payment. The app says "Payment confirmed. Aisha's page shows paid."
If the slip is wrong:
- Tap Slip doesn't match. A sheet opens. It says: "Tell Aisha what's wrong. The slip is kept on the order, the link opens again for another day, and Aisha sees your reason."
- Tap a reason:
- The amount is different
- The money is not in my account
- I can't read the slip
- It went to a different account
- Tap Send to Aisha.
The app says something like "Aisha sees: the amount is different". The card label turns to "Slip didn't match". The orange note now starts with your reason, like "Aisha sees your reason: The amount is different."
If the order has a digital item, the app warns: "Digital order. The buyer gets it as soon as you confirm the money."
If Grow checks your slips, a line on the slip says what Grow found. When the slip looks right, Confirm payment turns green, and the board card says Confirm. Still check your bank app before you tap it. See Let Grow check payment slips.
Customers seetheir page turns to paid when you confirm. After Slip doesn't match, they see "[shop name] couldn't match your slip" and your reason.
Cash chosen
When the customer chooses cash, the label says "Cash on delivery · unpaid". It says "Cash on pickup · unpaid" or "Cash at the counter · unpaid" for those orders. A grey note also says so. For example: "Aisha chose to pay MVR 95.00 in cash when it arrives. The link no longer closes by itself."
When you have the money, tap Mark cash received. The app says "Cash received."
For a customer who is with you, the button says Cash received. It is also on their card on the board.
Paid
The card shows the slip picture, if there is one. Move the order along as usual.
Until the order is delivered, a small Cancel and refund link shows at the bottom of the card.
Cancel and refund
Use this when the customer paid but you cannot fill the order. Send the money back first.
- Send the money back to the customer from your bank app.
- Tap Cancel and refund at the bottom of the Payment card. A sheet opens.
- Read the note: "Send MVR 95.00 back to Aisha first. This cancels the order, puts the stock back and marks the money refunded. It can't be undone."
- Tap Cancel and refund.
The card now says "Cancelled and refunded. The stock came back." To keep a photo of the money you sent back, tap Add refund slip. You do not have to.
Customers see"This link has closed" and "This order was cancelled and your payment was sent back."
Cancel order
Use this to close a link that is not paid.
- Scroll down under the items.
- Tap Cancel order. A sheet called Cancel order #41? opens. It says "The link closes and the stock comes back. Aisha sees that it closed."
- Tap Cancel order.
The app says "Order #41 cancelled".
Customers see"This link has closed" and "[shop name] cancelled this order. Message them if you have questions."
Make a new link with these items
When a link closes, the order moves to Done, under Cancelled. On the order page, the Payment card says why. For example: "Not paid in time. The stock came back. If Aisha says they transferred anyway, their slip still reaches you here for 7 days."
- Tap Done at the top of the order board.
- Scroll down to Cancelled, at the end of the list.
- Tap the order.
- Tap Make a new link with these items. The Counter opens with the Charge sheet ready. The items, customer, delivery and ways to pay are filled in.
- Check them. To change how many, tap the button that says how many items, like 3 items.
- Tap Create pay link.
- Send the new link from Link ready.
Paid late and Paid twice
A red box shows at the top of the order page.
Paid late means the customer sent money after the link closed. The box says "Aisha sent MVR 95.00 after this order closed. Check your bank, then choose."
- Reopen order: use it only if the money is in your account. A sheet says "#41 comes back as paid and the stock is held again." Tap Reopen as paid.
- Refund: you send the money back. See the refund steps below.
- Not in my account: the money did not come. The app says "The order stays closed." Tap Not received. To go back without choosing, tap Back.
Paid twice means the customer paid more than once. The box says "Aisha paid more than once. Check your bank."
- Refund the extra: you send the extra money back.
- It was one payment: the customer paid only once.
To refund:
- Send the money back from your bank app.
- Tap Refund or Refund the extra. A sheet called Refund Aisha opens.
- If you like, tap Add refund slip.
- Pick the photo of your transfer.
- Tap Done, it's sent back.
Who can use it
Everyone on your team can open pay link orders and use these buttons: the owner, senior managers, managers and staff.
Pay links need a Storefront.
Common mistakes
My pay links are missing from Live
You may have set a filter in Done. It also hides orders in Live. To clear it:
- Tap Done at the top of the order board.
- Tap the funnel button on the right. It has no words, only a funnel picture (a cone, wide at the top).
- Under Channel, tap All.
- Tap the funnel button again.
- Under Date, tap All time.
- Tap Live.
There is no Cancel order button
A slip is waiting. The app says "A slip is waiting. Confirm it or mark it as not matching before you cancel, so the customer's money is never left hanging." Tap Confirm payment or Slip doesn't match first.
I need to change the items, but Change items is gone
Change items shows only while the link waits for payment and you have not started the order.
- You started the order, or the customer chose cash: tap Cancel order under the items. Then tap Make a new link with these items.
- A slip is waiting: check it first. See Slip sent above.
- The link is paid: see Cancel and refund above.
The customer says they paid, but the link closed
Ask them to open the link again. For 7 days after it closes, they can still send their slip there. It comes to you as Paid late. Check your bank, then tap Reopen order or Refund.
Tip
Look for the "Seen" label on the card. If it is not there, the customer has not opened the link yet. Tap Remind to send it to them again.
