What it is
Grow is your shop assistant in Eveyla. Some customers used to order often, but have not ordered for a while. Grow calls them regulars who have gone quiet. It writes a message for each one, with your shop link. You can add a 10% off code, so Grow can show you who came back.
Find it
The order board is the first screen after you sign in. If you are on another page, tap Orders in the bar at the bottom.
- Tap the small green Grow tab on the left edge of the screen.
- Tap Today at the top of Grow. It may say Today · 3.
- Scroll to the card marked Customers. It says something like "3 regulars have gone quiet".
- Tap Write their messages. The Bring them back screen opens.
On a computer, click Grow at the top of the bar on the left.
Grow shows this card only on days it finds quiet regulars. Opening Grow for the first time? See Meet Grow, your shop assistant.
Every setting
To send the messages:
- Tap Add 10% off at the top. If a green note with a code is already there, go to step 2. You can skip this step, but then Grow cannot count who came back.
- Read the message on the first customer's card.
- Tap Send on WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens with the message and their number.
- Tap send in WhatsApp.
- Come back to Eveyla. The card asks "Did you send it?".
- Tap Yes.
- Do steps 2 to 6 for each customer.
- Tap the back arrow next to Bring them back.
Send all your messages before step 8. If you sent at least one, the Customers card then leaves today's list. You cannot open this screen again today.
Customers seea WhatsApp message from your own phone. It says hello with their first name and your shop name. It may name the item they usually buy. It ends with your shop link. With the offer, it also has the code and the last day it works.
The Customers card
On Today, the card shows how much these customers have spent with you, like "MVR 4,500 spent". A small chart shows some of them. The green bar is how often each one usually orders. The orange dot is how many days since their last order.
Not today? Tap Later. Grow moves the card to tomorrow. A bar says "Moved to tomorrow". Tap Undo on it to bring the card back.
Bring them back
The line under the title counts your messages, like "3 regulars · 1 of 3 sent".
Add 10% off for 7 days
Grow makes a private code only for these messages. Tap Add 10% off. The button says Adding offer while Grow works.
Then a green note says "Each message has code", with the code, "10% off" and the last day. Ready-made messages you have not changed now get a line with the code.
The code also shows on your Promos page. Leave it on there, so customers can still use it. See Make a promo code.
Customers seethe code in your message. They type it in their basket to get 10% off.
Write each one personally
This switch is off when you start. The ready-made messages are free.
When it is on, Grow writes a new message for each customer, from what they usually buy. This uses Grow credits. The line under the switch says how many, like "3 credits for all 5".
Tap Add 10% off first. Then Grow puts the code in these messages too.
- Tap the switch.
- A sheet called Write personal messages? opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) It shows the credits it uses and how many you have.
- Tap Write it.
- A sheet says "Writing their messages". Wait a few seconds, or tap Close, keep it running.
- When they are ready, a message says "Messages written" and how many credits are left.
To go back to the ready-made messages, tap the switch again. Messages you changed or already sent stay as they are. If you turn it on again, Grow writes new messages and uses credits again.
Not enough credits? A sheet says "This needs" and the number of credits. Tap Send ready-made messages · free, or top up. See Grow credits.
Customer cards
Each regular has a card with their name. Under it is a line like "Usually every 14 days · 40 days ago". It shows how often they used to order, and when they last ordered.
The message is in a green bubble marked "Draft". Draft means it is not sent yet. Nothing is sent until you send it.
A card may say "No phone number saved for Aisha". Grow cannot send this customer a message.
Edit
- Tap Edit under a message.
- Change the words.
- Tap Done.
Took the code out by mistake? Tap Add the code to this message under the bubble.
This opens WhatsApp with the message and the customer's number. When you come back, the card asks "Did you send it?". Tap Yes if you sent it. Tap No if you did not.
After Yes, the card says "Sent. Grow will tell you when they order." After No, the Send on WhatsApp button comes back, so you can try again.
If you messaged this customer not long ago, the button says Send again. The card also says when, like "Messaged 3 days ago".
Who came back
When a customer you messaged orders with the code, Grow shows it:
- On their card in Bring them back: "Ordered with", the code and the amount.
- On Today: a card like "Aisha came back", or "3 customers came back", with what they spent.
- On the sales card on Today: a line like "MVR 750 won back by Grow messages last week".
Who can use it
Only the shop owner. Senior managers, managers and staff do not see Grow.
Grow needs a Storefront. On a free listing, Grow says "Grow comes with a Storefront". See Free listing and Storefront.
The ready-made messages and the 10% off code are free. Write each one personally uses Grow credits.
Common mistakes
I can't find the Customers card
Grow shows it only on days it finds quiet regulars. If Today says "Nothing needs you today", read the line under it. It may say "no regular has gone quiet". If you tapped Later, Grow moved the card to tomorrow. If you sent a message and then tapped the back arrow, the card is done for today.
Write their messages is grey
You are offline. The card says "Write their messages needs internet." On Bring them back, a bar says the same, and Send on WhatsApp is grey. Connect to the internet and try again.
It says Couldn't add the offer. Try again.
Check your internet. Then tap Try again on the card.
Grow doesn't show that a customer came back
Grow only counts orders that use the code. Tap Add 10% off before you send. If you edited a message, check that the code is still in it. Did you use Write each one personally before you added the offer? Then tap the switch to go back to the ready-made messages. They have the code.
Tip
A message sounds more like you with one line of your own. Tap Edit and add something, like "We miss you at the stall". Keep the code and the link in it.
