Delete an item
Remove an item you will never sell again.

What it is
Deleting takes an item off your shop page and the Counter (the POS tab) for good. It cannot be undone. Past orders and receipts still show the item. If the item is only gone for a while, hide it instead: it keeps its photos, price and stock.
Find it
- Tap Items in the bar at the bottom.
- Tap the item you want to delete.
- Tap the round … button at the top right, next to the X.
On a computer, the item sheet opens on the right. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) The … button is at its top right.
Every setting
Delete product
Food shops see Delete dish.
After you tap the round … button:
- Tap Delete product at the bottom of the list. It is in red.
- A red box opens. Read it: "Removes it from your shop and the Counter, from any box it was in, and any promo code made only for it. Past orders and receipts keep it. This can't be undone."
- Tap Delete.
While it works, the button says "Deleting…". Then the sheet closes and the item is gone from your list.
To keep the item, tap Keep it instead.
Customers seethe item is gone from your shop page. Their past orders still show it.
Hidden
To hide one item instead of deleting it:
- On the Items page, find the item's row.
- Tap the button on the right of the row. It says Shown or Sold out. A small menu opens.
- Tap Hidden.

Delete many items
You can delete several items at once.
- On the Items page, tap Select at the top.
- Tap each item you want to delete.
- Tap More at the bottom. A sheet called More for 3 items opens.
- Tap Delete 3 items at the bottom, in red. It shows the number of items you picked, and "Past orders keep them".
- A sheet called Delete 3 items? opens. It shows the items' photos and says:
- "Past orders and receipts keep them."
- "They leave any box or hamper they are in."
- "This can’t be undone."
It may also name a promo code. See "My promo code is gone" below.
- Tap the red Delete 3 items button at the bottom.
The app says "3 items deleted".
On a computer, click Select and pick the items. Then click the red Delete button in the bar at the top.

Hide them instead
The Delete 3 items? sheet also has a card called Hide them instead. It says "Off your shop, but photos, prices and stock stay. Bring them back any time."
Tap Hide them instead. The app says "3 items hidden from your shop". To change your mind, tap Undo on that message.
Hidden items can still be sold at the Counter. To show them again, see Mark an item sold out or hide it.
Who can use it
The owner, senior managers and managers can delete items. Staff do not see the Items page.
The Items page comes with a Storefront.
Common mistakes
I cannot find Delete product
The … button only shows after an item is added. To throw away a new item that is not added yet, tap the X at the top right. If it says "Not added yet", tap the X again.
It says "It wasn't deleted"
A message shows at the bottom of the sheet:
- "No connection. It wasn't deleted": check your internet, then try again.
- "Only the owner and managers can delete items": ask the shop owner to delete it.
- "It wasn't deleted. Try again": wait a moment, then tap Delete again.
When you delete many items, the message says "No connection. Nothing was deleted." or "Couldn’t delete them. Nothing was deleted." Check your internet and try again.
I deleted the wrong item
A delete cannot be undone. Add the item again. See Add your first item. Your past orders still show the old item.
My promo code is gone
A promo code made only for the deleted item is deleted too. After you delete items, the shop owner can check the codes in Promos, in Settings. They can make a new code if needed. See Make a promo code.
Tip
For items you sell only in some months, like mangoes, hide them instead of deleting them. Next season, tap the Hidden button on the item's row. Then tap Shown. The item is back with its photo, price and stock.
