Add tickets and draw a giveaway

Every setting

Giveaway card on the order board

While a giveaway runs, a card shows near the top of your order board. It shows the giveaway name and a line like "Day 2 · 41 tickets · 21:00". When tickets are paused, it says "Tickets paused".

Tap + Ticket on the card to add a ticket. See Add a ticket below.

At the draw time, the card grows for the owner, senior managers and managers. It says "It's 21:00. Time to draw." Tap Draw now to go to the draw.

Staff see the card. They see + Ticket when Staff can add tickets is on. They cannot open the giveaway page.

Tonight's draw

This card is at the top of the giveaway page for an Every night giveaway. It shows:

• the number of tickets, like "41 tickets so far"
• the draw time, and how long until it, like "in 2h 14m". At the draw time it says "time to draw".
• where tickets came from: Stall QR, Shop page and Added by hand. Stall QR means people scanned your printed QR code (a square code that a phone camera can read).
• tonight's prize
• Draw now and + Ticket

Until someone has a ticket, the app says "Draw now shows once someone has a ticket."

After tonight's draw, the card shows the next night, like Day 3 draw.

Before the first day, this card is called Before it starts and has a Print the QR button. See Run a giveaway.

Under it, a card like 9 nights shows the winners, newest first. Each winner shows Collected or To collect. Tap a winner to open their details.

At the bottom, a line says where new tickets go, like "Tickets after 21:00 go into Fri 23 Oct's draw."

The draw (one draw)

For a One draw giveaway, the top card is called The draw. On the draw day, it is called Today's draw. Before the draw day, it says on which day Draw now shows.

With more than one prize, the button names the next prize, like Draw 3rd prize or Draw the 2nd prize. You draw the smallest prize first and the 1st prize last. When you start drawing, tickets close.

Under it, a card like 3 prizes lists each prize. Under each one, it says "Not drawn yet", "Up next" or the winner. If there are fewer tickets than prizes, the smallest prizes say "Not drawn: fewer tickets than prizes".

Add a ticket

This is for someone with no phone or no data at your stall.

1. Tap + Ticket on the giveaway page or on the order board card. A sheet called Add a ticket opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
2. Type their name in Their name.
3. Type their number in Their phone number. The app says "You'll call this number if they win."
4. If they want offers, tick "They said yes to offers from the shop". This shows only when Ask about offers is on.
5. Tap Add ticket.

The app says "Ticket 0007 added for Aisha. Tell them the number." Tell them their ticket number.

+ Ticket shows only while tickets are open.

Latest tickets

This card shows the 3 newest tickets. Tap See all 143 on the right to open the Tickets sheet. In Tickets:

• Type a name, number or ticket in the search box at the top.
• Tap Tonight, All nights or Said yes to offers to filter. For one draw, it says All.
• Each ticket shows its number, name, phone number, time and where it came from. An orange number was added by hand. Offers means they said yes to offers.
• Tap Add a ticket at the bottom to add one.
• Tap Download to save every ticket as a spreadsheet (a file with a table of names and numbers).

With no tickets yet, the card says "No tickets yet. Put the QR where people queue." With many tickets, the list shows the newest ones. Tap Download to get them all.

Send offers only to people who said yes.

Draw now

1. Tap Draw now. A sheet like "Draw Day 2 now?" opens. It shows the tickets, the prize and where new tickets go next. For one draw, it says "Draw the winner now?" or "Draw the 3rd prize?".
2. Tap Start the draw. To wait, tap Not yet.

The draw screen opens in your shop's colours. Numbers spin on the screen. Then it shows "Tonight's winner" (for one draw, "The winner"). It shows the ticket number, the first name and part of the phone number. It says "Picked at random by Eveyla from 41 tickets at 21:04".

1. Tap Contact Aisha to call or message the winner. Or tap Done.

For one draw with more prizes, the button says Draw the 2nd prize. Tap it to go on. Or tap Stop for now and finish later.

When the last night or the last prize is drawn, the giveaway ends by itself. Its page then shows the results. See After it ends below.

Customers see

for Every night, "Tonight's winner" and the winner, like "Aisha · 7•• ••34", on your giveaway card that night. After the last draw, they see a "Giveaway ended" card with See winners. Winners show only when Show winners on your shop page is on.

Customers see

"You won Day 2" on your shop page, if they won. It says your shop will call them, and "Show this ticket when you collect it." If your shop has WhatsApp, they can tap a Message button with your shop name. When Show winners on your shop page is on, others who had a ticket see "Not this time" and their name.

Winner

Tap a winner on the giveaway page, or Contact Aisha after the draw. A sheet like "Day 2 winner" opens. For one draw, it is "Winner" or "2nd prize winner".

It shows the ticket number, full name and phone number. Offers OK means they said yes to offers.

• Tap Call to phone them.
• Tap WhatsApp to message them. The message is ready. It says which ticket won and asks them to come to your stall for the prize.
• Under How did the call go?, tap Reached, No answer or Wrong number. This is a note for you.
• When they pick up the prize, turn on Prize collected. It then says the date, like "Marked Fri 23 Oct". The winner shows Collected on the giveaway page.

Draw again

If you cannot reach the winner:

1. Tap the winner on the giveaway page.
2. Tap Couldn't reach Aisha? Draw again at the bottom.
3. Under Why, tap No answer, Wrong number, Can't collect or Other. No answer is picked when you start.
4. Tap Draw again. To keep the winner, tap Keep Aisha instead.

The draw screen runs again for the same prize. The app says the old winner's "draw stays on record with this reason, and the ticket is left out. Your shop page shows only the new winner." If no other ticket is left, the draw screen says "There are no other tickets in this draw".

Once Prize collected is on, you cannot draw again.

Edit giveaway, Pause tickets and End giveaway

Only the owner has these. Tap the ⋯ button (three dots) at the top right of the giveaway page. A sheet with the giveaway name opens.

• Edit giveaway: change the settings. See Run a giveaway.
• Pause tickets: stops new tickets. The app says "Tickets paused" and the label says Paused. Draw now and + Ticket are gone while it is paused. To start again, tap Turn tickets back on.
• End giveaway: closes it for good. Tap Yes, end the giveaway to be sure. The app says "Giveaway ended". Winners stay on record.

Customers see

no giveaway on your shop page while tickets are paused. After it ends, they see a "Giveaway ended" card that thanks them for joining. If winners are shown, it has a See winners button.

After it ends

When the giveaway ends, its page shows the results:

• four numbers: Tickets, Different people, Came back 2+ nights and Said yes to offers. For one draw: Tickets, Winners, Added by hand and Said yes to offers.
• Where tickets came from, and how many people with a ticket ordered from you after getting it
• Winners, with how many collected their prize, like "2 of 9 collected". Tap a winner to open their details.
• Download all 143 tickets, to save the list
• Run another giveaway (owner only), to make a new one. See Run a giveaway.

At the bottom, a giveaway on your shop page says when its thank⁠-⁠you card leaves, like "The thank⁠-⁠you card leaves your shop page on Fri 6 Nov." A giveaway only for people with your QR or link says "Winners stay on record here."

Giveaway reminders

With Remind me to draw on, the owner, senior managers and managers get messages. They come as a phone alert if order alerts are on for that phone. They also come on Telegram if it is connected.

• At the draw time: "Time to draw Day 2" and "41 tickets tonight. Tap to draw."
• The evening before the first day: "Your giveaway starts tomorrow" and "Tickets open in the morning. Is the QR printed?"

After each draw, a message like "Day 2 is drawn" names the winning ticket. On Telegram, each message has a button: Draw now, Print the QR or Open the winner.
