How much does an online store cost in the Maldives?
Eveyla is MVR 299 a month for a full storefront, with 14 days free first. There is no commission and no fee per order. A custom domain is an add on at MVR 1999 to set up and MVR 150 a month after that. Extra staff seats are MVR 99 each.
Can I use my own domain name for my shop?
Yes. Point your domain at Eveyla and your shop runs on your own web address instead of a shared link. We do the setup and keep the certificate valid. You keep owning the domain, so you can take it elsewhere any time.
How do customers pay?
Cash on delivery, bank transfer with a slip upload, and PayPal for overseas customers. Transfer slips attach to the order they paid for, so you are not matching screenshots to names by hand.
Does Eveyla help with MIRA GST filing?
It gives you the figures. Turn on GST, add your TIN and rate, and the reports tab shows taxable sales, zero rated sales and GST collected for any month or quarter, with a CSV of the workings. The figures cover your Eveyla sales only, so check them against your own records before you file.
Will it work on island mobile data?
It is built light for phones on local mobile networks. Photos are compressed before upload, the order board is small, and counter sales keep working offline and sync when the signal comes back.
Can I try it without paying first?
Yes. Every new shop gets 14 days of the full storefront with no card needed. If you do not pay at the end, your shop stays listed publicly on the free listing tier, so nothing you built disappears.
I only have a few items. Is this too much for me?
No. Home cooks, kade shops and small takeaways are exactly who this was built for. Setup is four short steps and most shops are taking orders the same evening.
Do I need a registered business?
No. Individual sellers and home businesses can open a shop. If you are GST registered you can add your TIN later in settings.
