How to choose

What an ordering platform has to do here.

Software built somewhere else will fight you on payment, tax and connectivity. These are the six things that decide whether a system survives a real Friday evening in the Maldives.

01

It takes the order wherever the order comes from

Half your orders arrive in a chat and always will. A system that only counts the ones that came through a link is telling you a story about half your business.

02

The transfer slip lands on the order

Not in a thread you scroll through at midnight. The slip has to sit next to the amount it is paying, or you have moved the problem rather than solved it.

03

It keeps selling when the data drops

Island internet goes. The counter cannot stop with a customer standing in front of it, and nothing should be lost when the connection comes back.

04

It costs the same in a good month as a bad one

A percentage grows exactly as you grow, which makes it most expensive in the months you did best. A flat price is a number you can plan around.

05

The customer stays yours

You built that list one message at a time over years. You should be able to export it, and nobody else should be allowed to market to it.

06

GST and MIRA are not a second system

Your TIN, your rate, zero rated items marked per product, and a report ready to hand over. Anything else means doing the month twice.

One thing Eveyla is not

This is not a marketplace.

An ordering platform and a delivery app are two different things that get called the same name. One rents you a slot inside somebody else's shop. The other gives you a shop of your own.

A commission marketplace

You are a listing inside their app
Lists what you sell next to everyone else selling the same thing
Takes a cut of every order, so your best month costs you the most
Owns the customer. You receive an order, not a relationship
Holds the money and pays it out to you later
Sets the delivery, the fees and the rules
Your shop exists inside their app, on their terms

Eveyla

The shop is yours, the tools are rented
Your own link, your own brand, your own colours, your own domain
Flat MVR 299 a month, whatever you sell and however much of it
The customer is yours, and the list is yours to export
Customers pay you directly. Nothing is held, nothing is deducted
Your delivery, your islands, your rules
Nothing sits between you and the person buying from you
Everything included

One system, from the message to the doorstep.

The order arrives, the money arrives, the thing goes out the door, and you know where you stand. Eveyla is all four steps in one place, on the phone already in your pocket.

One order board

Link orders, WhatsApp orders, Viber orders and counter sales all land on the same live list. New, paid, packed, sent. Nothing lives in two places.

A shop link that answers for you

Items, photos, prices, sizes and what is actually left in stock. Send it instead of typing a price for the ninth time today.

Checkout that captures the slip

Exact total, account number to copy, slip uploaded there and attached to the order. Cash on delivery and pickup handled in the same pass.

Tracking the customer can watch

A live page that updates by itself, so the question stops coming back. One message replaces four.

Counter for the walk-in

Ring up the person in front of you on any phone or tablet. Cash, transfer slip, or put it on their credit. Keeps recording when the data drops.

Stock that closes itself

When the last one sells it stops being available, which removes the worst message you ever have to send.

The money, already counted

Money in, money out, what is left, and GST with your TIN. Nothing to reconstruct on the last day of the month.

Credit book and customers

Who owes what, since when, and a record both sides can see. Every order attached to the person who made it.

Not translated. Built here.

Made for how selling actually works in the Maldives.

Bank transfer slips attach to the order itself, not to a chat thread you search through later.
Cash on delivery, ferry departure island and the doorstep surcharge are built in, not bolted on.
GST with your TIN, zero rated items handled per product, and a report you can hand straight over.
Loads on Dhiraagu and Ooredoo mobile data, including on an island with one bar of signal.
Price in MVR or USD, so resort guests and local customers each see the number that makes sense to them.
Support answered here, by the people who built it, in Dhivehi or English.
Who runs on Eveyla

If your business takes orders, it fits.

Eveyla started with food. It did not stay there. One person cooking at home and selling through Instagram, a kade on an island, or a shop with staff and more than one outlet. The shape of the day is the same.

This is not a closed list. If you take orders in a chat, write the total on paper, and keep a separate book for who still owes you, then you are already running the business Eveyla was built for. You are just running it by hand.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask.

What is the best ordering platform in the Maldives?
The right answer depends on what you sell, but the things that decide it here are the same for everyone. It has to take orders from the chats as well as from a link, capture bank transfer slips on the order itself, keep working when island data drops, handle GST and MIRA, and not take a cut of what you sell. Eveyla was built around exactly those things, for Maldivian shops, cafes and home kitchens, at MVR 299 a month.
What is an ordering system and do I need one?
An ordering system is one place where every order lands, whatever way it arrived, with the item, the price, the customer, the payment and the delivery all attached to it. You need one at the point where you start losing track: two people told yes for the same last piece, a slip with no name on it, or a customer asking where their order is and you are not sure. If you can still hold the whole day in your head, you do not need one yet.
How much does an ordering system cost in the Maldives?
Eveyla is MVR 299 a month, or MVR 2,990 for the year, which is two months free. There is no commission on sales, no per-order fee, and no hardware to buy. Extra staff seats are MVR 99 a month each, and your own domain is MVR 1,999 to set up then MVR 150 a month. There is also a free Listing tier with up to five items, and a 14 day trial with no card.
Is Eveyla a delivery app or a marketplace?
Neither. Eveyla does not deliver anything, does not take a cut, and does not stand between you and your customer. You get your own link and your own order board, customers pay you directly, and your customer list stays yours. Shops are listed in the Eveyla directory so new customers can find them, but the order, the money and the relationship are yours.
Can customers pay by bank transfer?
Yes, and it is the part most systems handle badly. The customer sees the exact total and the account number at checkout, uploads the slip there, and the slip lands on the order next to the amount. You confirm it in one tap and the customer is told automatically. Staff can attach a slip to a walk-in sale too.
Does it work when the internet drops?
The counter keeps working. Sales record on the device and upload by themselves when the connection returns. Credit sales are the one thing held back offline, because the balance has to be checked against the live book.
Does it handle GST and MIRA reports?
Yes. Add your TIN and your rate, mark any zero rated items at product level, and the GST report is ready when you need it. Receipts show the tax back calculated correctly.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. They tap your link, browse and order in the browser, and follow the order to their door on a tracking page. No account, no app, no password.
What happens to my shop if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your shop drops back to the free Listing tier and keeps the same link, the same items and the same place in the directory. It loses the cart, the checkout, the order board and the counter until you start again.
Is it safe to run my shop on Eveyla?
Eveyla never holds your money, so there is no wallet and no payout queue to wait on. Every total is calculated on the server at the moment an order is placed, so it cannot be altered from a browser. Your shop can only ever see its own orders, customers and money, and that separation is enforced in the database rather than only on the screen. Staff seats reach the counter and the order board but not the money book. Eveyla is run by Eveyla Labs, a business of Propera Pvt Ltd, registered in the Maldives.
