Every setting

Share a preview link

1. Make your changes on Your page. You do not need to save them.
2. Tap ··· at the top right.
3. Tap Share a preview link. A sheet opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) It says "Making your link…". Then your link shows.
4. Tap Send on WhatsApp. Or tap the copy button next to the link. It shows a tick and says Copied.

The sheet says: "Anyone with this link sees your page with these changes for 7 days. Your live page stays as it is until you tap Save."

Send on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with the message "A preview of my shop page:" and your link.

The preview's own ··· menu also has Share a preview link. See Section builder: design your shop page.

If the link cannot be made, a red message says why. For example, "Could not make a link. Try again."

Customers see

your shop page as it was. Only people with the link see your new page.

The person who opens the link sees a dark strip at the top. First it says "Opening the preview…". Then they see your new page. The strip says "Preview of changes that are not live yet". After 7 days, it says "This preview link has ended. You are seeing the live page."

The link shows your page as it was when you made it. If you change more, make a new link.

Ask Grow

1. Tap Ask Grow at the bottom left. A sheet called Ask Grow opens.
2. Tap Suggest, Do it or Just explain.
3. Type what you want in the box, in your own words.
4. Tap Ask.
5. Grow's answer shows in the sheet. What to do next depends on what you tapped in step 2. Each one is explained below.

At the top of the sheet, the app says: "Grow reads your page, items and shop details. Nothing goes live until you save." It also shows your credits, like "10 credits".

The box shows "e.g. Tell customers we close Fridays 12 to 2 for prayer" in grey. That is only an example.

Under the box, it says: "1 credit. Refunded if Grow can't answer." Ask stays pale until you type what you want. While Grow works, it says "Grow is reading your page…".

Suggest, Do it and Just explain

• Suggest (picked when you start): "Grow shows each change first. You keep the ones you like."
• Do it: "Grow puts the changes straight into your draft. Undo takes them back."
• Just explain: "Grow answers about your page and changes nothing."

Or start from an idea

Under the box are four ideas. Tap one to fill in the box. Then tap Ask.

• Tidy my page: "Switch off parts with nothing in them"
• Show reviews higher: "Closer to the top of the page"
• Opening hours notice: "A notice before your items"
• Questions customers ask: "Written from your shop details"

Grow's suggestions

You see this after you ask with Suggest. It shows your question, Grow's answer, and a card for each change. Each card has a small picture of what the change does.

1. Each card has a green tick. Tap the tick on a change you do not want. It goes pale.
2. Tap Add 2 to my draft at the bottom. The number is how many changes you kept.
3. Tap Preview to check your page.
4. Tap the handle on the left edge of the preview. The preview closes.
5. Tap Save.

If no change is ticked, the button says Pick at least one.

At the bottom, it says how many credits you used and have left, like "Used 1 credit, 9 left. Nothing is live until you save."

Later closes the sheet. Grow's answer waits for you until you ask again or leave Your page. To ask something new, tap Ask something else instead.

Added to your draft

You see this after you ask with Do it. Grow's changes are already in your draft. Tap See it in my page to go back and check them. Tap Ask again to ask something new.

Grow says

You see this after Just explain, or when Grow has no changes for you. Tap Done to close it, or Ask again.

Grow's note on Your page

After Grow's changes go into your draft, a note shows at the top of Your page. For example: "Grow's 2 changes are in your draft. Check the preview, then Save." Tap the X to close the note.

If you changed your page after you asked, some changes may not fit any more. The note then says, for example, "2 of 3 changes are in your draft. One no longer fit your page as it is now." If none fit, it says "None of Grow's changes fit your page as it is now, so nothing changed."

To take Grow's changes back, tap the undo arrow at the top of Your page once. It takes back all the changes from that answer. A block Grow wrote says "made by Grow" on its row. See Section builder: add blocks.

On a computer, Grow's sheet sits in the Ask Grow tab. There, Later is called Ask something else.
