Morning brief on Telegram

The app says: "A short message at 6 am with your top move, only on days Grow has something for you." Next to it is a switch. Green means on. Check that it is green.

Tap the switch to turn it off. This stops the morning brief, the weekly and monthly recaps, and Grow's slip check messages on Telegram. Tap it again to turn them back on.

If your shop is not connected to Telegram, there is no switch. The card says "Link Telegram in Settings to get a short message at 6 am with your top move." Tap Open Settings. Grow closes and the Order alerts sheet opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.) Connect Telegram there.

The morning brief

It comes from Eveyla Bot, in the same chat as your order alerts. It has a picture of Grow and this text:

• "Good morning," and your shop name, like "Good morning, Aisha's Cakes". Under it is the date, like "Friday, 16 Oct".
• "Your week": your sales and orders in the last 7 days, compared with the week before. For example: "MVR 4,200 from 31 orders, up 12% on the week before (MVR 3,750)."
• "What to do today": up to three moves, biggest first. A move is one thing to do, like "Restock Chocolate cake. 3 left, and it runs out tomorrow." See Grow: today's moves.
• "Also on Grow": a folded box. Tap it to open it. It has short facts, like "2 new customers this week."

Under the message are buttons. The first one is for your top move, like Restock now or Message regulars. It opens Grow at that move. Open Grow opens Grow on Today.

On a quiet day, a message can still come. It says "Nothing needs fixing today." and shows "Your week". Then "One idea for today" gives one idea, like "Share your shop link in a customer group today." It only has Open Grow.

Your week

Once a week, Grow sends a longer recap. It starts with "Your week," and your shop name, then the dates. It shows your sales and orders, compared with the week before. Then:

• "What went well": like your best day, new customers and your top seller.
• "What slipped": like fewer orders, smaller orders, or days with no orders.
• "For next week": up to three ideas, like "Keep Chocolate cake in stock and near the top of your shop."
• "More numbers": a folded box with more facts, like your online sales and your sales at the Counter (the POS tab).
• "Today": today's top move, if there is one.

A long recap can come as two messages: first the picture, then the text with the buttons.

Month recap

After a month ends, Grow sends a recap of that month. It starts with the month and your shop name, like "October at Aisha's Cakes". It shows your sales, orders and average order, compared with the month before. Then come "Top sellers", "Your customers", "When and where", "What slipped", ideas for the next month (like "For November") and "Today".

The buttons are See October in Insights (with that month's name) and Open Grow.

Slip check messages

If Grow checks your payment slips, it sends two more messages to this chat. "Slip checks paused" comes when it runs out of credits, with a Top up button. "Slip checks back on" comes when it has read the slips that waited. If one of them shows a different amount, the message says so, like "#12 shows a different amount." Then tap Open #12 to see that order. See Let Grow check payment slips.
