Eveyla — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Eveyla collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Eveyla is an online storefront and ordering platform operated by Propera PVT LTD (“Eveyla”, “we”, “us”).

Each shop or restaurant on Eveyla is an independent business (a “Shop”) that sells directly to you. This policy covers what Eveyla does with your information. See “Shops are independent” below for the Shop’s part.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order (as a customer):

Your name, phone number, delivery address and island
Any note you add for the Shop
The items in your order and your chosen payment method (cash on delivery or bank transfer)
If you pay by bank transfer, the payment receipt image you upload

On your device (to make ordering easier):

Your cart, your saved name/phone/address, and links to your recent orders are stored locally in your browser. This stays on your device — we don’t use it to create an account, and you can clear it any time in your browser.

When you run a Shop (owner or staff):

Your email and password (your password is stored encrypted by our login provider — we cannot see it)
Your name and phone number
Your shop’s details, and your bank account name and number (so customers can pay you)
Monthly-fee payment receipts you upload

Reviews:

If you rate an order, your first name (as entered), your rating, and any comment. Reviews are shown publicly on the Shop’s page.

Usage data (Google Analytics):

Pages you visit, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and similar information, collected using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

To place, process, and track your orders, and show them to the Shop so it can prepare and deliver them
To create and operate Shop accounts and the order dashboard
To take and review Shop monthly-fee payments and activate storefronts
To display ratings and reviews
To keep records of orders
To understand and improve the service (analytics)
To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the service secure
To contact you about your order or account

3. Payments

Eveyla does not process or hold any money. You pay the Shop directly by cash on delivery or bank transfer. There is no card payment, so we never collect card details. Bank-transfer receipts you upload are stored so the Shop (and, for monthly fees, Eveyla) can confirm payment.

4. Shops are independent

Each Shop is a separate business responsible for your order. When you order, the Shop receives your name, phone, address, order details, and any note so it can fulfil and deliver your order. How a Shop handles your information is the Shop’s own responsibility.

If you contact a Shop through WhatsApp or Viber, that conversation happens inside those apps and is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Who we share information with

Supabase — our database, login, and file-storage provider (hosts orders, accounts, and uploaded receipts)
Lovable — our application hosting provider
Google Analytics (Google) — usage analytics; this may involve transferring some data outside the Maldives
The Shop you order from — as described above
WhatsApp / Viber — only if you choose to send your order or a message through them

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and for Google Analytics. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work properly if you do.

7. How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Account and shop information is kept while the account is active. Information saved on your device stays until you clear your browser. You can ask us to delete your information (see “Your rights”).

8. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Eveyla is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

10. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask any question about this policy, by emailing hello@propera.io. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use Eveyla after a change means you accept the updated policy.
