Ask for a new feature
Tell Eveyla what would make the app better, and vote for other shops' ideas.

What it is
Feature requests is a board of ideas that shops sent to Eveyla. You can send your own idea. You can also vote for ideas other shops sent, so Eveyla can see what many shops want.
At the top, the app says: "Your name is never shown. Other shops only see the idea and the number of votes."
Find it
- Tap Settings in the bar at the bottom.
- Scroll down to Team & account.
- Tap Request a feature. It is the last row in the group, with a light green colour. It says Vote on what we build next under it.

Every setting
To send an idea:
- Tap the green + Request button at the bottom right. A sheet called Request a feature slides up. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
- In What should we build?, type a short name for your idea. For example, "Print the prep sheet".
- In How would you use it?, say when you would use it and why it helps.
- Tap Send request at the bottom.
A note says "Sent. We will review it shortly." The board switches to Yours, where your idea is listed.
The sheet says: "Other shops can vote on it once we have read it."
Each part of the page and the sheet is explained below.
Most wanted, Newest, Shipped, Yours
These four buttons are under the green note. Tap one to choose which ideas you see.
- Most wanted (picked when you start): ideas that are not built yet. Ideas that are built come after them, under Already shipped (shown in capital letters).
- Newest: ideas that are not built yet, newest first.
- Shipped: ideas Eveyla has built, under You asked, we built it (shown in capital letters).
- Yours: only the ideas you sent.
When there are no ideas yet, the page says "Nothing on the board yet". Under Shipped it can say "Nothing shipped from the board yet." Under Yours it can say "You have not sent a request yet."
Each idea
Each idea is a card. It shows the name, and the first lines of what the shop wrote. If the text is long, tap More to read it all. Tap Less to make it short again.
Under that, a small label says how the idea is going:
- No label: shops can vote for it.
- Waiting for review: Eveyla has not read it yet.
- Planned: Eveyla plans to build it.
- Building now: Eveyla is building it.
- Shipped, with a tick: it is in the app now. The card says when, like "Shipped in October".
- Not planned: Eveyla will not build it.
Your own ideas also show Yours. Ideas that are not shipped say how long ago they were sent, like "3 days ago".
Vote
The box on the right of each card shows an arrow and the number of votes.
- Tap the box to vote. It turns green and the number goes up by 1.
- Tap it again to take your vote back.
You cannot vote on ideas that say Waiting for review, Shipped or Not planned. Their box looks pale.
What should we build?
A short name for your idea, like a title. The box shows "Keep it short, like a title" in grey. The number on the right, like "12 / 80", counts the letters you typed. You can type up to 80.
How would you use it?
Tell Eveyla when you would use it and why it helps. The box shows "Tell us when you would use it and why it helps" in grey. The number on the right counts up to 600.
Under this box, the app says: "We read every request. Your name stays private. You can send up to 3 a day."
To close the sheet without sending, tap the X at the top right. What you typed is not saved.
Who can use it
Only the shop owner can open Feature requests, from Settings.
It is free. It works on the free listing and on a Storefront.
Common mistakes
I can't tap Send request
Both boxes need enough words. Type a short name in What should we build?. Then write at least one full sentence in How would you use it?.
A red message shows when I tap Send request
The sheet says "Something went wrong". Check your internet and tap Send request again. The sheet also says you can send up to 3 a day. If you already sent 3 today, try again tomorrow.
The vote box will not move
The idea says Waiting for review, Shipped or Not planned. You cannot vote on those. If "Could not vote" shows at the bottom, check your internet and tap again.
What I typed is gone
The X at the top right closes the sheet, and what you typed is not saved. Tapping the dark part of the screen does the same.
Tip
Before you send an idea, look through Most wanted and Newest. Another shop may have asked for the same thing. Vote for that idea instead of sending it again. Then all the votes add up in one place.
