What it is

Mistakes happen in any book. In the credit book, you can undo a line on the same day, until midnight. After that day, you correct a sale with a reason, and the owner can cancel a payment. A corrected line stays on the page, so you can always see what changed.

Find it

If you are the owner or a senior manager:

  1. Tap Insights in the bar at the bottom.
  2. Tap Credit at the top. It is the last tab.
  3. Tap the person in Who owes you.
  4. Tap the line you want to fix.

To find someone who owes nothing, tap the magnifying glass next to Who owes you. Then type their name.

Managers open the credit book another way. See Keep a credit book.

Every setting

Undo right after you save

After you write down an amount or record a payment, a message shows at the bottom. Tap Undo in that message. The line comes off the page. The app says "Taken off the page" or "Payment undone".

Undo a sale today

  1. Tap the sale line. Or tap the small Undo under its amount. A sheet with the sale opens. (A sheet is a panel that covers part of the screen.)
  2. Read the note: "You can undo this until midnight. It comes off Ahmed's book and your reports, as if it never happened."
  3. Tap Undo, it was a mistake.

If they paid any of it, the note also says: "Anything they paid stays on their account as credit."

The app says "Undone", and the line is gone.

The sheet also shows the date, the items, Total, Paid and Left. Tap Open order to see the whole sale.

Correct sale

After midnight, a sale cannot be undone. You correct it instead. It stays on the page, in grey, with your name and reason.

  1. Tap the sale line.
  2. Under Correct this sale, tap a reason: Wrong amount, Wrong person, Brought it back or Other.
  3. If you like, type more in the Anything to add (optional) box. For Wrong amount, it shows "Should have been 200" in grey as an example.
  4. Tap Correct sale.

If you tap Other, the box is called What happened. You must fill it in.

If they paid any of it, the box also says: "Anything they paid stays on their account as credit."

The app says "Sale corrected". The line now has "· corrected" after its name, with the reason, who did it and the date. Its amount is crossed out. It no longer counts in what they owe, or in your sales.

Under the button, the app says: "Wrong amount? Correct it, then write down the right one."

  • Wrong amount: correct the sale. Then tap Add at the bottom of their page and write down the right amount.
  • Wrong person: correct the sale. Then write it down on the right person's page.

Tap a corrected line to see Why, By and When.

Undo a payment today

  1. Tap the payment line, like "Paid in cash". Or tap the small Undo under its amount.
  2. Read the note: "You can undo this until midnight. It comes off the account and the sales it paid are owed again."
  3. Tap Undo, it was a mistake.

The app says "Undone". The payment is gone, and the lines it paid are owed again.

The sheet also shows Amount, How, When and From. From says "Recorded here" when someone recorded it in the book. It says "From their slip" when it came from the customer's slip. If some of it was given back, a Given back row shows too.

Void payment

After its day, only the owner can undo a payment. This is called voiding it.

  1. Tap the payment line.
  2. Tap Undo this payment. A sheet called Void payment opens.
  3. Read the line at the top. For example: "MVR 200.00 · Cash · 12 Oct 2026. It comes off the account and the sales it paid are owed again."
  4. Type why in the Reason box. For example, "Recorded by mistake".
  5. Tap Void payment.

The app says "Payment voided". The line stays on the page with "Voided" and your reason. The lines it paid are owed again.

Senior managers and managers see "Only the owner can undo a payment after its day."

When some of a payment was given back, the owner sees "Some of this was given back, so it can't be undone."

Undo void

If the owner voided the wrong payment:

  1. Tap the voided payment. Its sheet is called Voided payment.
  2. Tap Undo void.

The app says "Payment is back on the account".

More

Tap the round button with three dots at the top right of a person's page. A sheet with their name opens:

  • Edit name: change their name.
  • Open customer profile: opens their customer page. See Your customers.
  • Give back MVR 200: only the owner sees this, and only when the person paid ahead.

Edit name

  1. Tap the three dots button.
  2. Tap Edit name.
  3. Change the name in the Name box.
  4. Tap Save name.

The new name also shows on their customer page.

Give back

When a customer paid ahead and you give them the extra money back, the owner records it here.

  1. Tap Paid ahead above the list in Who owes you.
  2. Tap the person.
  3. Tap the three dots button at the top right.
  4. Tap Give back MVR 200. A sheet called Give back opens. It says, for example, "Give back money you're holding for Aisha."
  5. The Amount (MVR) box shows all the money you hold for them. Change it if you give back less.
  6. Under How?, tap Cash or Transfer. Cash is picked when you start.
  7. Tap Give back MVR 200.00.

The app says "Gave back MVR 200.00". A line like "Given back · cash" is added to their page.

If you type more than you hold, the box says "You hold MVR 200.00 for them."

Given back

Tap a "Given back" line to see it. The sheet shows Amount, How and When. It says: "Money given back adds to what they owe, or comes off what they paid ahead." This sheet has no Undo button. Check the amount before you give money back.

Who can use it

The owner, senior managers and managers can undo lines on the same day, correct sales and change names.

Only the owner can undo a payment after its day, undo a void and give money back.

The credit book needs a Storefront.

Common mistakes

There is no Undo on the line

The line is from an earlier day. Undo only works until midnight. For a sale, tap the line and use Correct sale. For a payment, ask the owner to tap Undo this payment.

Correct sale stays grey

Tap a reason first. If you tapped Other, type what happened in the box.

The button says Needs internet

Fixing a line needs the internet. Connect, then tap the button again.

It says "Only the owner can undo a payment after its day."

Ask the owner to open the payment and tap Undo this payment.

I can't find Give back

Only the owner sees it, and only when the person paid ahead. Their amount is blue in the list.

Tip

Check your book before you close for the day. Before midnight, a wrong line comes right off the page. After that, it stays on the page as a correction.
